Absolutely charming hotel and personable staff.  The Hotel Durant is within walking distance to all that Aspen has to offer.  Even if you don't get a room with the amazing mountain view, you will still have a view of Aspens and Firs. Super clean, AC, free internet service (with no login) and a continental breakfast is included! Highly recommend.

Absolutely charming hotel and personable staff

This "hotel" is in the heart of Aspen and close to so many things.  It reminds me of the type of hotel you find in Europe -- more like a boutique hotel.  The room is not huge but is just fine/right.  It is cozy and the bed and pillows are wonderful.  The shower has wonderful hot water and it's been quiet.  Breakfast is "continental" which means lots of bready carbs, but they also have fruit, hard-boiled eggs, and great coffee.  The owners are so nice and service-oriented.  I will stay here again.

A perfect hotel for me

Hotel Durant is a lovely spot to stay while visiting Aspen! It’s proximity to everything in Aspen is excellent - restaurants, shopping, groceries, and parks are just short walks. 

The rooms are on the smaller side but very efficiently used, nicely appointed, and so clean. We stayed in one of the standard rooms as a family of 3 with two giant suitcases and had plenty of space. 

The free breakfast every morning was a nice way to start our day. The food was tasty and it was quite fun to chat with other guests and the hotel staff about things to do in the area.

Everyone we encountered at the hotel could not have been nicer or more accommodating! We will definitely be back!

Such a wonderful hotel!

This is such a great find in Aspen! Reminds me of a European style of hotel.  Super charming and the great room/ lobby has a fireplace where we met some others wonderful guests.  The rooms ARE small and storage a bit of a challenge but they made it easy by storing our bags during our stay.  We walked to everything including Ajax within. 5-10 min. The owner Brian and manager Florencia make the stay feel like home. Before even checking out.. we rebooked for next season.

Charming find in Aspen

Phenomenal little boutique hotel.  Great location - walk to everything, great fun design, fantastic staff, overall relaxed atmosphere.  Rooms are a modest, but the design and everything else more than compensates for that.  Definitely would stay again.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful.  The  included breakfast hit the spot. The lobby, breakfast tables and fireplace sitting area were very inviting.

A cozy oasis in Aspen!

I’m a bit late on this but my review will still be the same.  My wife and I stayed here a few weeks before Christmas 2020 and I couldn’t have been more satisfied.  The entire property has been updated and is very clean and modern but still retains the charm of a boutique hotel.  Considering how outrageously priced Aspens Hotels can be this place is very reasonable and a good value, especially the few weeks before Christmas.  The main lift to Aspen mountain is a simple 7 minute walk and there is no need start the car as all of the restaurants and drinking establishments are walkable.  Also a simple but very satisfying breakfast is included every morning.  I plan on being back next year to ski Aspen again  (this year is Vail)...

Superb Convenient Boutique Hotel

We just checked out of this boutique hotel today. Very happy with our stay. Quiet, clean, great beds, air conditioning, free continental breakfast, free parking, walking distance to downtown Aspen. 

Room is tight, my husband and I hit our knee about four times on bed frame, but sink/mirror area is very roomy. Love how modern and up to date this hotel is. Would definitely stay again.

Foot of Aspen Mountain, walking distance to the ski lifts, really nice clean pleasant rooms, great fresh breakfasts, pleasant hot tub, and a wonderful front desk host, Florencia who is friendly and knowledgable.

Great little hotel.

Clean, bright, reasonably priced and a pretty good breakfast included. Conveniently located in Aspen and a pleasant owner made  our brief stay  a very good one. I would definitely return.  Each room is decorated with ceramic mooseheads.  I give the Durant a 5 Moosehead rating!

This Philadelphia couple could summer hike Aspen Mountain right outside Durant Hotel, everything was at a foots step away > eats, entertainment > hotel was super clean with linens & towels of highest thread counts (much appreciated), felt European with morning culinary complimentary eats to start our day!!!!  Do not pass by Durant Hotel, stay and be pleased......Aspen is splendid in all seasons.  We shall return to Aspen and The Durant.
