We had booked a night at the Aparthotel Faust in June. Check in was from 3pm, but we were able to get into the apartment by 1pm. We got a room upgrade with a separate living room with a couch and a small kitchen.:-) When we checked in, we still got useful restaurant tips (fabrika). The room was simple but purposefully set up - breakfast worked very well in Scandinavian design (very appealing). The new breakfast was very versatile and also very pleasing. The hotel is in a great location, just a few steps to the alley and a few minutes to the lab. The parking lot there in the inner courtyard (here is also the entrance) - including a Wi-Fi connection. There was also a free drive and there would be a good way back to the park (this is a short drive from the railway station), but at the end of the street you can go to the park (this is a very nice picture), but at the end of the street you can't get to the green lot (this is a very nice driveway), but at the end of the street you can't get to the park (this

Quiet, centrally located lakefront apartment with a great breakfast.

At the reception we were told that the restaurant was closed at night. The rooms in the main building were not occupied because there was no night porter present. In the newly built Dependence modern rooms with views of the large parking lot and the lake. The rooms were somewhat uncomfortable. The beds were in order. Fruit floor was absolutely inadequate, service was not visible, mirror lids cold, sausages cold. Old bread. The hotel is certainly working mainly with travel groups.

Good location, close to the castle

We booked a two-room suite in advance for several months. As a result, we got a one-room suite with three beds on the top floor. The furniture is old, the plumbing is terrible, the bed linen is not fresh. The ceiling is leaking. Repair needed. But breakfast is good. And quietly (but we did not open the window, and the road - close).

Old and uncomfortable hotel!

Hotal location is very close to the center, about 2-3min walk, close to Decin castle. Room was simple but clean, quiet, with a view of pond and swans in it. Breakfast was very good and tasty. Private car parking in the back yard. Reasonable price. Very good for a one or few nights, because it's close to Česke Švycarsko national park. The most visited place Pravčiska brana is only 15km, about 20min. by car.

Very good hotel for this price

From the railway station to the hotel only 200-300 meters. Near the castle and the wonderful castle pond. The place is very quiet. The room is quite decent, breakfast too. TV in the room without Russian channels. A good restaurant with a rich selection of South Moravian wines.

Hotel near the Castle

The hotel is located next to Dechin Castle, on the shore of the castle pond. Spacious apartments with a wonderful view of the pond. Good breakfast, a good restaurant with a summer terrace overlooking the pond. Normal Wi-Fi.

Beautiful location, cheap accommodation

The rooms are very nice at this hotel with everything you need. The people working there is helpful and even allowed my girlfriends parents to stay for free in their caravan at the parking lot. 
Breakfast is poor with warm milk and cold eggs. Ants were crawling around at the table but it didn't seem to bother the waiter much.  

Nothing special...

We spent in Hotel Faust 5 nights. The location is good and close to the Decin Castle and the centre of the city. The rooms are big and clean, the place is quiet and pastoral. The restaurant is pretty good too with various menu at a very reasonable price. I had grilled salmon and my wife had trout and both were delicious.
Breakfast is repetitive but rather good, however there were some yogurts with expired dates and some molden cakes so do check these things out.
The major let down was on the last day. We were contacted by phone and demanded to check out immediately, even though the hotel is half empty and it didn't seem there was any pressure to ask us out. The lady in the reception complained about the noise our 3 years old daughter made in the lobby although there was nobody else there. There was no storage room to leave our luggage so we had to go straight to the train station instead of spending a few more hours in the beautiful city of Decin.

Overall OK but with an aftertaste

We were looking for a 3rd room just outside the alley. The room was big, the storage was very small. The bathroom was very small and in need of renovation. The view to the small pond was very nice. It is in the middle of the city. From here you can start well into the surroundings. The breakfast was sufficient, but with little choice. You can eat the cheese or not. For Czech relations a little too lean... The staff supernett!

For the money, I.O.

It's a comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and English-speaking reception.The only drawback is that the hotel's breakfast and dinner are not very varied.There is no elevator but there is free wifi in the rooms.
