First visit to the Hotel Garni Pradella, excellent accommodation and team looked after us. The accommodation is close to the center of town and the lifts, it is a short uphill walk but the hotel has equipment lockers at the lifts to make it as easy as possible with your kit.

Fantastic ski hotel

It's a very nice hotel surrounded by beautiful nature, a great combination of village quiet and traditional city amenities. The elevator is a five-minute walk along an almost forested path, the elevator has a cabinet with ski equipment (the cabinet is provided by the hotel itself without any extra charge), there is a supermarket along the way, near bars and restaurants. The hotel has a clean, warm, beautiful sauna with a recreation area. Delicious breakfasts.

But walk to the elevators and to the town centre, with your own skid pool, comfortable rooms, beautiful views and a super delicious breakfast round the table.

Just a little bit out of the way.

We had a great time with the Schrank family. The room was very nice and clean with a great view from the balcony to the center. The breakfast did not leave any wishes open. How happy to come back! Thank you again for everything!

A wonderful stay

The Pradella is a Garni hotel. This generally means that there is a different service offer than in other hotels. The two owners care lovingly for each guest and help at all times. The sauna and the steam bath, which is open almost every day, are preferable. It is not huge but sufficient if guests are distributed during the opening hours. The hotel is located a little outside the center of the area. The slight slope on the way to the hotel is hardly noticeable, but when you visit Ischgl next time, Pradella is at the top of my list.

This is my second visit to Hotel Pradella. Last year we stayed in their ground floor self-catering apartment which was great for our party of 6. This year we returned and booked 3 rooms with breakfast and it was even better. Our hosts Tommy and Christelle were amazing, their energy and hospitality knew no bounds. Breakfast was amazing, a traditional and extensive Austrian buffet with the option of a freshly cooked egg.

The rooms were a good size and everything was in great condition. We had the use of a sofa bed in one of the rooms where two single boys were sharing. Everything was cleaned daily to a very high standard. 

From a value for money perspective it was the best I've experienced in the Alps. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk up the hill from the main town, but this was not a problem for us. The hotel gives you free access to heated lockers under the Finba lift and our group felt this was preferable to being located in the town centre and having to carry your equipment a shorter distance. We were also able to park our car at the hotel.

The hotel benefits from a traditional Austrian sauna, steam room and a small bar hosted by Tommy. 

Apparently 80% of their guests have been before and I can see why. I will definitely be making another visit to Hotel Pradella soon.
