Thea guest house we had booked in 1993!!! It's nice that it's still there. (No wonder the nice hosts and the service) We were there with two children and there was also a holiday home. The holiday home probably isn't there anymore, it was old but super clean and there was nothing missing. Soon, after over 25 years, I have to book again. It was just too nice. Why after all these years?

I'm glad Thea's guesthouse is still there.

We spent a weekend in Oberstdorf with 4 friends at the end of April 2015. Apart from the good weather, the accommodation was a big contributor to the success of the weekend. The hostess was a friendly local who provided us with tips and offered us a lavish and lovingly furnished breakfast buffet (at the cheap price of the night so unexpected).

I'm tired of the sun.

The house is located not far from the town centre in a quiet street. It is clean and lovingly furnished. The host is an angel and is happy to help with all questions and problems. The breakfast offers everything you can wish for. I felt very comfortable and welcome. The Nebehorn Railway and the Erdinger Arena can also be reached on foot. Really highly recommended. My next visit is already planned. :)

The guest house is only a few minutes from the city centre and the Nebelhorn railway is also within easy reach. It is therefore perfectly located. The rooms are simple and nicely decorated and the breakfast was also good. The guest house is highly recommended and it will not be our last visit.

Great location, nice hostess.

The Gästehaus THEA offers an excellent quality/price ratio for Oberstdorf! First of all, the kindness and availability of Christina Maier, the owner, who starts in 4 to give you satisfaction! The situation is 2 minutes from the Kurpark and the centre. The quality of accommodation then follows: spacious rooms with German comfort, mostly with balcony and very nice, the very copious breakfast, not to mention the guest card which entitles you to free mechanical lifts (otherwise particularly expensive in Germany)!

This is a great hotel in Oberstdorf.

My best recommendation: Thea Guest House is always clean and well maintained. In the back you have a fantastic view of the Alps. In 2 minutes' walk you are on the vast upper village meadows, which are also affordable depending on the season. Daily top room cleaning with very nice boss and staff. Have you forgotten anything? No problem - there are free needles and threads, shoe cleaning products, a kick, daily social games, lots of newspapers, very cheap drinks and free WiFi. What to forget? In the basement there is a free one.

Surrounded by mountains, very close to the meadows, feel at home

Very friendly and kindly hostess. Although we were only here for one night, all our wishes were fulfilled. Very good breakfast: bread, bread, eggs, sausage, cheese, cereal, yogurt, marmalade, juice, etc. just everything there and we were asked for special requests. We had knowingly booked a very small room and could have lasted several days, as there were enough storage facilities in the room as well as in the bathroom.
