Its all lies. The condition pf the place is very poor. You cannot have your air condition on to be comfortable they monitor how long u have it on and lock it off remotely, the breakfast that is included is not continental at all and serve the same thing every single day. They also give you one price and then when you get to the hotel is a different price which is higher very thief. they have no customer service. I would never recommend there. Don't talk about the WIFI terrible.

Thieves & Liers

Well located, you can walk to many tourist spots. Many places to eat in the vicinity. The employees are attentive and solve transportation and information needs. Two days there was no hot water and after a few minutes it was solved. I definitely do not recommend it for vacation.

Very nice hotel and convenient to get to the points of interest, simple and comfortable rooms with air conditioning and TV, single blemish shower water not always there is pressure and not always hot

Hotel in the beautiful capital

We were 2 people, we had booked the hotel for a week. The room price was higher than at the reservation, well 100.- SFR. We had a big headache after the first night because the beds were very uncomfortable. Even the restaurant that they were pricing doesn't exist in that sense, because on the first try they ordered Take Away, after 2 hours of waiting time, then someone from the staff came and told us that there was nothing. On the second try we wanted to order something from the card *that is in the room* at about 19:00 and then we were told that the kitchen is closed. Like the laundry service they were offering.

What is it?

Small hotel, somewhat out of the colonial zone. Modest rooms that already need repairs. Employees are eager for attention, but that is not enough to cover the shortcomings of the hotel. Excessive price for what it offers. For a little more, it is preferable to stay closer to the historic center.

 Modest and clean

Staying at this hotel for a weekend with my family was super...good treatment from the receptionists very clean room...good food..the hotel is close to the malecon...in the bar area you can enjoy your stay without having to go out on the street.

It was an unforgettable experience.

Stayed at Hotel La Morada for a few days and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are a decent size and the amenities are efficient for the price. To get the best deal I would recommend you call the hotel directly and make a reservation. I booked through a booking website and the price was $47/day for a standard room, no breakfast. If you call, it’s $40/day or $45 w/ breakfast.
The room:
The standard room is just that, a bed, a TV, small armoire, a decent size fridge (the temperature knob on mine was broken). The bathroom was somewhat small but that was only in my room (302) as my business partner had a bigger bathroom (201). Lighting is kinda dim so you have to turn on all the lights, the lamps and open the curtains to get some sunlight in the room. The bed was decent but the pillows were quite hard. Had good water pressure and the hot water was plentiful once you let it run for a few minutes. Overall it was a comfortable room.
The restaurant:
The restaurant is on the 4th floor walk-up rooftop deck and there’s a jacuzzi at the other end of the rooftop. Didn’t have a chance to eat there but looking at the menu its standard fare. Definitely a nice place to sit and have a drink or just catch some sun on a hot, balmy day.
Overall the hotel is very quaint and comfortable. The guys at reception were quite helpful and accommodating. There is parking in front of the hotel but it consists of 5 spots or so. There is some light traffic that passes in front of the hotel but more so during the day. In the evenings the area is relatively quiet. It is relatively close to the Malecon and a short cab ride to el Conde and other tourist spots.

Great spot for the right price

I rented the king suite for 4days with a total of $236 taxes included. I selected the option to pay at hotel. My last night there they told me the price was $400!! I showed them my confirmation email as proof that it was at $200 but refused to accept the price. I asked to speak with someone in charge and also refused to,give me the information needed. Breakfast wasn't worth getting. You order it at 8am and they say the cook arrives at 10am. By the time you get your breakfast it's past noon. In the end I was forced to pay $400. On top of this the AC leaks water and in the morning you're walking on a puddle.  Do not be fooled by online prices. They will not accept it!!!!

Thieves!

The location of the hotel is just reasonable, it's a 10-minute walk from Independencia Park. The hot water record in the shower was broken, and it was only repaired the next day. I paid 94 dollars for 2 nights, and the first bathroom was frozen. When I requested to change the room or at least another bathroom to take a bath, the person at the reception informed me that all the rooms were occupied, which was not true, because the hotel was practically empty. It's cool to be smart if you use the room safe, because the receptionist has the key to open it.

This Bad Benefit

The hotel did not want to grant me the online price, I went there having in mind the online price, they never told me the price of the room and by the time of check out they double the price of the room and charged me $60 for one gatorade and a bottle of water. They refuse to give me the managers name or phone number. The room was with breakfast included, but they never have more than scramble eggs and toasts and very limited natural juices.
