Very good hotel within the town walls of St Malo. The owners were very helpful, especially in guiding me to and from their  garage I had booked, which was some way from the hotel. There are outside tables in the attractive square, and (temorarily) one can arrive by car to offload - but navigating the Intra Muros is not easy!  The room was fine in all respects. There is a small lift, helpful because like most Intra Muros buildings, the hotel is built high -4/5 stories. Very accessible to the bewildering array of surrounding restaurants. The hotel breakfast was fine. A most interesting place to stay, very convenient for the channel ferry terminal.

Good Itra Muros hotel

With a fabulous location within the walls, this family run hotel was a pleasant surprise. Super friendly and efficient couple at the reception.
It is fantastic that the Hotel has a private car park and that the manager has taken and brought the car to the Hotel's door.Thank you very much.It is obvious that the park has costs ( 16 euros) but it is well worth it 
Very small room but with all the necessary facilities for a short stay.The elevator is very cute.tiny.The smallest in the world, I suppose..hehehee
We didn´t take breakfast at the hotel,but the breakfast room looks very nice

Can only comment the bar and location :). Location fantastic in this busy city. The bar, well, the terrace is lovely and quiet and staff lovely and more importantly one of the only places in Brittany we got a really good apérol spritz 😉. Thank you

Great location, warm and quiet room, good shower, comfy bed, TV with lots of British channels. 
Continental breakfast had all the variety you’d want for €8 extra. Coffee could have been hotter though.
Away from the bedroom, there was a lounge area to relax where they served drinks. A clean and well-run hotel.

A pleasant and well-run hotel in excellent location.

Location excellent. Everything spotless. Helpful & friendly couple. Room tight but fine. Bathroom very tight & impossible to keep folding shower door closed. Take a "friend"!
Woken by very loud shower noise from next room. Secure parking a ten minute walk from hotel.

Excellent breafast

Family run in the Old City (‘intra muros’) 5 mins from Brittany Ferry terminal. Booked private parking; told on arrival it was several streets away. As husband disabled they parked car and returned next am, no problem. Reception is the bar area: a charming, informal welcome. Main door key and code provided for after 10pm. Smallest one person lift ever (100kg), we had hand baggage so managed. Our room (no 4) was very compact but actually fine. Immaculately clean including carpet, curtains, shower etc. Large window with street view. Tv with at least one channel in English. Adequate hanging space, armchair, small desk. King size (uk) bed comfortably firm and sliding door to shower/wc bathroom. Large radiator by bed so think it would be warm in winter. Couldn’t see aircon (?) we had window open. 
We got a deal so was only about €15 more than Ibis. The real joy was being 2 mins walk from masses of restaurants - this was a Sunday and most were open! We had a G&T each in the comfy bar/breakfast area before venturing out: €12. Didn’t have buffet breakfast as eating on ferry. 
Summary: There are probably larger rooms than ours but we adjusted quickly. The cleanliness, comfy bed and location for eating and shopping couldn’t be bettered. In summer one could sit outside. Highly recommended 


Compact and clean

Le Croiseur s tucked away in the old Fish Market square but, like most hotels in Saint Malo, is just minutes away from the Ramparts, the Cathedral and the wealth of interesting places that make up this unique place.

The hotel is run by a very friendly couple. It hosts a small cafe area and a patio bar, and  a very nice continental breakfast is available for guests. The elevator should be in the Guinness Book of Records - it holds one person (under 160 Ibs) and one piece of luggage! However, this is an ancient city and part of its charm. My room was excellent and I would certainly stay again.

Friendly and welcoming.

You get the full Saint Malo experience staying here. It’s easy to find on foot, less so by car, but we had booked their private parking and the staff were really helpful explaining how to access it. Marital discord was therefore avoided! Tiny hotel, tiny lift, but very clean, comfortable room and a great bathroom. The owners and staff are delightful, and speak English if you need it. Breakfast was very good, as is the little terrace just in front of the hotel, ideal for people watching with glass in hand. 

Fantastic hotel 

Don’t be turned off by only having 2 stars. This hotel is in a perfect location and the husband/wife team who runs it are wonderful. There’s no bells and whistles but the rooms are exceptionally clean, bathrooms as well. The only thing I didn’t like is that they close before 10pm, and you will need to use a code to get in, so get your night cap before head back, but that’s not their fault, it’s because it is a 2 star 

Excellent location, excellent management  & clean

Easy to find with the bonus of cycle hoops outside in the market squar where I could safely secure my bicycle. A clean comfortable hotel with a bar and terrace. I stayed on possible the two noisiest nights of the year, Bastille Day and World Cup final, so noise from the city could be heard from my room. Only to be expected. However, as my window opened onto a private courtyard I was spared the early morning sounds of revellers rolling home and the noise of refuse, glass bottle collection which has been prevalent in other intra-muros hotels I have stayed in.  I was extremely happy with my stay and I have already Reserved a room for July 2019!
