Family-run hotel from a very nice and helpful family.Good enough breakfast nice garden and hotel own bathroom 3 min away. The rooms with sea view to the Bundesstraße unfortunately and because our balcony door was broken they could not be closed completely and it was relatively noisy through the passing trucks. What was really great is a suitcase radio in the room TV anyway but this time with rooms out back.

Nice family-run hotel.

On the plus side, the hotel entrance and terrace are quite attractive and charming, which gives a good first impression. Parking was easy. The breakfast is extensive and would suit different tastes, and taking it on the terrace on a warm day is a big plus. The hotel is in close proximity to the center of town and to the lac side (but overlooking the main road, which in this area is probably unavoidable) so a good location.

On the negative side, the overall state of the room we had on the first floor was clearly tired. The furniture is old and not attractive, the pillows on the bed were substandard, the bathroom was abysmally small and in need of a complete revamp.

Advice to the owners: invest in bringing this lovely hotel up to standard to bring it back to what was certainly its former glory: renovate, revamp and redecorate. This will make the price of the room more correct.Show less

Old charm in need of a facelift, just made it to 3 stars

We spent 3 nights in the romantic room, a pleasantly cool room away from the main house with a super comfortable bed and plenty of room. The hotel is somewhat old-fashioned, but extremely clean and tidy. The garden area is like a park with lots of plants, seating and accommodation. The family is very hardworking and helpful, especially noticed by the son of the house, who was really nice both at the booking and at the farewell. The breakfast was very good and varied and was immediately eaten if something was missing. The swimming pool is delicious, soup and trekking boat are available for free use. Very nice is also the fridge with all the drinks to drink.

I'm going to do something else. I'm going to be idyllic.

The hotel is located on the main street and is very easily accessible. The hotel operated by the family is well maintained and clean. The reception and staff are all more than friendly. The family is friendly, helpful, leaves no wish unfulfilled. Sufficient and lovingly designed breakfast buffet.

Comfortable, well-groomed and family-friendly

The hotel is in good condition, the reception and the staff are very friendly, very nice.I was there without prior registration and got the room on the way back and forth.Very nice breakfast room, terrace and family is very helpful!

Everything very well taken care of

The hotel is really very easy to get to. If you don't mind the main street, you can stay here. The hotel is very nice. It's a charm of the 70s. But everything is very neat and very clean. The reception and staff are very friendly. It's really very nice. The rooms, so our room on the 3rd floor, is very small, though. The bathroom is very small. It's not suitable for people with slightly more space, or for people with slight restrictions or a shallow roof. I guess the bathroom should be about 2 square meters (picture).

Good 70s charm but too expensive... unfortunately

As part of our trip to Carinthia, we went down here for 3 nights and felt quite comfortable. The room on the 3rd floor was satisfactory with a very small bathroom, a small balcony and a view of the lake. Unfortunately, the street was quite noisy, so we had to close the door at night. The ventilation slits, perhaps in other rooms, with closed doors, we could not find in our room. The house itself is lovingly furnished and it is fun to visit the old photographs on the walls. Very nice breakfast room and fine breakfast! Even the garden and terrace invite guests. The whole family is happy to help out at different times and at their leisure.

Family and cozy

Nice hotel in a rustique style. Family owned and family run establishement offers nice and comfortable rooms, private hotel beach not far away and is situated in walking distance from everything you need. Owners are really taking care of their guests, you can also almost feel how much they take care of the place too. It is a dog welcome place in full meaning, dogs are allowed everywhere (including the beach) and owners dog will always greet you in the lobby. Also restaurant is quite good. If you are travelling with the dog, this is the right place.

My priority was the proximity to Millstätter Pen Church. (Firmation) The hotel in good condition, with a beautiful large garden, seems to have gotten a little old. The room was clean, but just old. The staff was very attentive and friendly and the kitchen in the evening was excellent. But best of all was the very large and really very nicely arranged breakfast buffet. All in all, the price performance ratio is recommended due to the slightly outdated house.

Firming

Very old hotel, although friendly staff (family business), but the lovely location overlooking the lake is relativised by the small rooms with dusty 1970s furniture and muffled boxes. It is clean, yet the overall impression is clumsy and well-settled. Unfortunately also by the street side location very noisy, you can only sleep with closed windows. Breakfast is moderate, certainly not four-star level.
