Easy, plenty of parking around, people from all walks of life, nice and quiet, pretty. I went in September. A double room with a very complete bathroom and terrace on the street with gardens. Historical and familiar.

It's very easy to use, easy to use, and well suited to the sea.

It's a hotel that has stood the test of time, is very upgradable in terms of modern equipment, but has a point of classicism that advises that if carried out, be cautious, because it would lose its charm... that it has it. Incidentally, that technically it has wifi and works perfectly. The attention is unbeatable. The cleanliness, manifest. The price, correct and in line with the services it offers. The location, good, close to the beach, casino... Ah, and the breakfast, with the exception that it has no revolutions or crushed tomatoes, impeccable for the quality of the products. A classic that never plays for anything other than what it is. Certainly, the bed, the porch, the porch, and that's a very nice room in the hotel.

It's all a classic with what this entails.

A real time travel, a stately building that transports you to the past. A very friendly staff that resolves any doubts, spacious and comfortable rooms. Just feel like some more plugs are missing, since my room only had one and was in the bathroom. The breakfast is pretty good, they don't have much variety but if breakfast is good. It is very well located and has a small parking lot.

A journey through time.

Hola, our first impression of the Hotel (Hostal), was good ,day sunny and hot. The location was right on one of the beaches and  lots of sporty/leisure stuff happening. The Hotel is of the large trad style and was very clean,  massive room ,firmish bed and a nice breezzzzz coming from the sea. Room furniture all in keeping with hotel , shower area was large size ,every thing spot less. out side there is garden /terrace but as we were passing through never got to explore .   breakfast was basicish but what was there was fresh and enough of it. over all no real snags , we have done better for the room rate E80, But we have been in less desirable for more dosh.    gets a tick from the loftys .

good start.

First impressions were great - a beautiful old hotel in a fantastic location in Santander.  There were three downsides: the breakfast was not good (the fruit in the fruit bowl was actually mouldy, and there was no tortilla or tomato, so not very Spanish), so at an extra 6 euros a person, I would recommend eating out instead; the mattress was thin and not conducive to a good night's sleep at all for either of us (and my partner normally sleeps like a log anywhere); the sound proofing in the rooms is non-existent and it sounded like our neighbour upstairs was an insomniac who spent most of her time tap dancing around the room - who wears heeled shoes on a wooden floor anyway?  So a potentially lovely hotel but in need of some basic updating to make it as good as that first impression.

Lovely old-fashioned hotel but some downsides

State three days in August, this is a good place, the cleaning is great, but I would change the beds if I sleep super badly and we haven't slept anything this holiday because it was very uncomfortable and the price is reasonable for where we are,

El Paris is not a hostel in use (at least what we mean by hostel in Madrid).The beautiful early 20th century building that houses it gives it an elegant and gentlemanly appearance.And the fact that it is a family business, with very attentive and educated lifetime employees, with physical keys and some curious antiques in the common areas gives it a special character.It is true that the general equipment of the same is scarce, that the rooms are correct but without any additions (no air conditioning, no fridge, no big TV), that it has no cafeteria (only a nice dining room for the right standard breakfast) or that there is no accommodation available.But... who cares if it is located 2 minutes from the private area 1 of the Sero (a little doubt about the best play areas of Spain), that the rooms are perfect but without any additions (no air conditioning, no fridge, no big TV), that there is no cafeteria (only a nice dining room for the right standard breakfast) or that there is no accommodation available.

A film location.

Nice, clean and well located hotel, next to the El Sardinero beach. Basic and OK breakfast. Staff speaks only very basic English. Parking is free but difficult in the area, and hotel says nothing about likelihood of fines, when parking like the locals.

Good 2-star hotel

Three years on since my last visit, this hotel still preserves it's charm, frozen in time with all the old-fashoined telephone exchanges and other items displayed throughout the hotel.

They have upgraded only in the sense that they noew have free wi-fi.

I still love this hotel - it's charm, the warmth of the staff as well as it's location. If you want a central hotel in Santander then this s not the one for you, as it is on the very outskirts of the centre.

At the cost of about 4-5 euros you can get a taxi into the centre, where there is a wide range of hotels and tapas bars to be enjoyed.

Still a charming hotel

An excellent stay in this hotel, 5 minutes from the beach and the bus station (for 1.30€ you can go anywhere in the city, including to the small markets where you can do super business). Many small cheap restaurants just below, special mention of the Yesterday. The staff are very warm, helpful and competent. Our room was simple but clean, with a very pleasant large terrace. The only shade on the board: don't expect to get fat in the morning. No don't disturb signal available, housewives pass the aspirator in the hallway in front of the rooms before 9am, and speak happily loud enough to cover the noise of the machine. Similarly when they make the rooms, many noises of their songs and conversations are very little, the rooms are soundproofed.
