It takes a lot of effort to set everything up nicely. My room, very spacious, was decorated in loving gold baroque. However, I prefer the modern one. For the room (lounge) there was only one heater that wasn't enough to heat. I froze in the room at the end of November. In the bathroom only a heater. I had to get up 15 minutes earlier, set it up and curl up in bed until it was warm enough in the bathroom. At breakfast, you have trouble choosing. However, the quantities on the buffet are such an obstacle that you can't use them. After breakfast, but only one breakfast takes care of everything. You can start with breakfast o'clock, which is a nice meal, which you'll have made yourself a nice meal. If you're in the bathroom, you'll also get a nice coffee. But if you're in the bathroom, you'll say that you'll get a nice meal.

You're trying hard, you're a lover of the extraordinary.

We didn’t stay in the main building but the next house. The room was very clean but unfortunately the rooms don’t have AC or fans so at a day with outside temperatures of almost 40 degrees it is boiling hot in the room! I couldn’t tell that the owners were rude, not at all. They were really nice and friendly. Breakfast is quite mediocre for 10 Euros. The highlight of this hotel of course are their two live cheetahs which you can get very close to.

Old fashioned but special 

We were appalled by our recent stay in this hotel. We have never experienced anything like this before. The owner (lady at the reception) spoke to us in a very rude tone after she found out we did not speak any German. Any innocent question about the room/keys/reservation that we asked was met with a very strange and aggressive reaction as if we threatened her life. We do strongly recommend not to stay in this place.

Extremely rude owner not speaking any English at all

- rooms are very old - bed linen was torn - heaters full of spider webs - modest smell - 98 € per night without breakfast is not justified - complete misunderstanding of the complaint about the torn bed linen - room very cold, heaters for the room is too small - I have never been in such a bad hotel

Never go back to this hotel

Never met a more unfriendly receptionist who is also partly owning the hotel. You really fell that you have to be grateful they accommodate you. We just slept there so it was okay, rooms are clean and nice. The area is very quiet.

Family Feast in HN

If you want unfriendly and even shouting reception person (female) when you enter and just because you want to pay the evening you should come here.  But BETTER read the tons of feedback here. Old flair breakfast with not even dark bread in southern Germany is what you will find... Enjoy

Never again

The rooms are huge and very comfortable. Since there is a kind of lobby, you can close the bedroom door so that you can barely hear any noise from the whole room. The quality of sleep is just great. Breakfast is fine, you can also order eggs. The staff who serves breakfast is also very dedicated. In the house live beautiful owls and cheetahs. You can visit them through a grid in the garden. The location is very good, you can walk into the city center. Other beautiful villas are also in the neighborhood. The owner is a case for herself: she seems unpleasant and irritates when you ask for anything. Even in the surrounding area she is not very friendly with the staff.

Beautiful old house, lovingly decorated

We were staying in the dependency right next door, a building that harmoniously fits into the ensemble of main buildings and park. This had the advantage that on the way to the main house we could be infected for breakfast by the meditative step sequence of two cheetahs, subdued by the cries of the two snowflakes in the cage next door. We then had breakfast in a spacious room of the villa, furnishings and pictures reminiscent of the exotic wildlife. After breakfast we crossed downtown a very tasty villa facing downtown, which was very well preserved from the destruction of the minutes of World War II, but the large outbuildings we had been able to move about 15 feet away from the old building.

Unusual

Even if the reception with the brittle charm is a little bit of an adjustment (compared to other houses), rooms are clean, bathroom is ok and in a very quiet location.

Quiet and clean - safe again

The hotel is in a very nice, "German Villa" environment and really special. Old colonial style, each room different. The owner´s really nice and supportive. Wifi excellent. Restaurants are nearby. Parking in front of the house - easy. Amazing Garden.
