It is a hotel that is located on a street of the Senate of the Republic, during the day there is a lot of surveillance although at night there is a noticeable change. The staff is very friendly and the attention very good although the facilities are noted to have had their best times, the room has a window climate that you have to call for them to come to turn it on or off and like many hotels the noise in the hallways and street is very notorious.

Excellent location, the lack of modernisation.

It's a very old hotel without upgrades.The beds are stained and sometimes rotten.The aroma of the room is very penetrating to the atmosphere.No soaps left and it looks more like a stopover on the road and therefore I think its price is high.At breakfast the fruit offered was not fresh.

There is no going back.

We had booked another hotel that cancelled, we were sent to this hotel, it has everything near renovation, the hotel includes breakfast, the rooms are a little outdated and look dirty, but you can save yourself from not having a hotel near renovation.

 A safe option.

The old hotel, its very old facilities, and the buffet, and the same every week.I recommend it for a one- or two-day trip alone.The beds are a bit rough, and you can hear a lot of street noise.Some windows are broken.

The Hotel Antiguo

The hotel seemed decent walking in, until the staff shows you the rooms, that's when it all goes downhill. The rooms smell weird and the bed sheets look like they've never been changed/washed. 

Note: If a taxi driver (don't remember his name) recommends you this hotel after he takes you to the choice hotel you made, do not listen to him. Instead look for another one. He will insist you to book this hotel...

Not worth it

It's in the downtown area. It's not an unsafe place. It's cheap. You get a complimentary breakfast. If you come to the cdmx for a couple of nights. It's good for you. They've had their best years. The price is affordable.

Hotel solo for business travel

I travelled with a group of students from Peru, and it was ok. I had some friends staying at other places for a bit more, but they didn't get the buffet breakfast we had at plaza. Its very near the city center, plaza garibaldy, markets and much more... very convenient

not bad for a first visit

The hotel is old, but clean enough. The room has a separate tap with drinking water. Good breakfast, a Swedish table with Mexican cuisine. Coffee is served by a waiter from a coffee maker, roasted, liquid, as is actually accepted in Mexico. But for those who suffer a few steps from the hotel to the left there is a coffee shop with a normal espresso (but from Mexican varieties of coffee).

Convenient hotel, relatively close to the subway and the coffee shop.

We asked for another room after the purchase, it was very dirty, towels and toilet paper were lacking, but the worst of all was the taxi service, which charges drivers 300% more than normal prices, so be careful!

It's cheap, but it's unattended.

A very large structure has the elevator, the floors are six, the rooms are very spacious but not very clean, I spent 660 pesos. Very cheap but I don't recommend it! On the first floor there is the reception with a room that functions as a restaurant and a bar. Breakfast with several local specialties.
