Our stay at Siesta was amazing. First and foremost, the staff are fantastic. So warm and welcoming, always with a smile. I mean, if I lived there, perhaps I’d always be smiling! All the girls in reception (I’m so sorry we didn’t get your names) were faultless. Just fantastic. Fabien, our daily transport to breakfast/beach club was superb. Friendly, courteous and a total joy to be in his company. 
We took breakfast at Las Hamacas which is the beach club at Siestas sister hotel on the beach. I don’t think this always is the case tho. Nevertheless, if you are so lucky, the breakfast is outstanding. Varied choice and all delicious.  Enchiladas Suizas, waffles and pancakes were our highlights. The staff there too are superb. Clearly both locations must be somewhere nice work as the staff are so nice. 
The beach club is great, prices are fair and the food is excellent. And the view?!?! I didn’t want to write a good review cause I fear it may be fully booked when I return. 
Everyone involved with Siesta and las Hamacas should be proud, absolutely flawless.

Very, very friendly and helpful host! Clean and good hotel close to the beach and town centre, but still away from the busy and noicy life. 

The hotel offers free taxi service to their associated beach club in the eastern part of the beach away from the busy part. Its a very nice beach club, where the hotel breakfast is available. The restaurant there is excellent.

Would definitely recommend Siesta Hotel. Also good value for your money.

Close to town centre and beach, great service and super friendly host..

We stayed at the room with kingsize bed and balcony. It costs a little bit more but it is worth it. The shower is great. We also saw the other rooms because doors were open and we really were happy with our room. There are two things which were anoying: very bad wifi connection, if you are closing your eyes with the airco on you feel like lyong outside. It is very noisy but I think this is the case everywhere on Holbox because the houses don"t have thick walls.
The staff was extremly friendly. I would definetly book this again and its very central.

Very good, I would go there again

We loved our stay at Siesta Holbox, especially the breakfast in the restaurant, served by Beto and his team, who were super friendly. The highlight was the access to the beach club, which is on the best part of the beach and well positioned for a walk to Punta Mosquito. The food at the beach club restaurant was amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful. There's a free shuttle to and from the beach club, but we didn't use it much as preferred to walk the 30 mins to the beach. Plus, as a family of 4, they would have to have made two journeys, which was a waste of time.
The hotel is in a great location, in the centre of town, but not at all noisy.
The only downside was the very small bathroom. We would definitely go back!

We loved Siesta Holbox!

Hotel Siesta Holbox is very centrally located, yet quiet. It offers an excellent service. From the reception to the departure, the wishes are read from the eyes.
The restaurant and the service are on 5 star level. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Every evening you get fresh water and a small sweet. There is a free shuttle to and from the beach club and fresh beach towels are available at the reception every day.
Hotel staff on top level.
Can only recommend it.

Excellent Hotel in the heaet of Holbox

Pros & cons:

Excellent breakfast with multiple options cooked to order,  spacious & clean room.  Friendly staff.

Smelly bathroom,  beach club is a 15 minute bone jarring ride away.  When you get to the beach club, it’s a minimum MX$400 if you want a seat on the beach.  Otherwise you can sit across the road at the bar and breathe exhaust fumes from the golf carts coming and going.

OVERPRICED

Fantastic hotel, lots of lovely little touches. Great staff, great breakfast and great location. Would absolutely stay again. 
Beto, Nacho, Bere, Danielle, Rosie and the lady behind the bar (never got her name!) were all so welcoming and made my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel.

1. The staff of the hotel itself was nice, helpful and tried to make the stay pleasant.

2. The hotel is very centrally located.

3. The hotel is just too expensive for what it is. 

4. The hotel has its own restaurant. The kitchen faces the courtyard, so most rooms (including ours) were regularly bothered by the noise from the kitchen. A relaxing stay is something else. Since almost all rooms of the hotel are affected by this, a change to another room does not really bring relief. The courtyard of the hotel does not look very nice. 

5. We had booked overnight stays with breakfast, which was provided by the hotel's own restaurant. The breakfast is à la carte. What is not communicated is that after each breakfast one is given the bill for breakfast to sign. The bill also includes a suggested tip, which one is supposed to pay and is insisted upon. For the price, which calls the hotel, in my opinion already a cheek. If the tip is not paid in this amount, the service of the restaurant decreases directly massively.

6. On the last day, the restaurant tried to make us pay the bill for the last breakfast in full (although this was still included in the payment for the accommodation). We had booked the accommodation until 12 o'clock on the day of departure, but checked out already at 10 o'clock in order to still get the ferry to the mainland and continue with the ADO bus to Cancun. Before checking out, we had already ordered breakfast; we requested the bill right after checking out to put our signature under it as usual. The restaurant did not want to accept the signature and demanded the full amount EVEN THOUGH THE BREAKFAST WAS ORDERED BEFORE CHECK-OUT AND WE HAD THE ROOM BY 12 AM. Only after consulting with the reception of the hotel did they let go of their demand. This has been an absolute impertinence.

Good location, but very noisy (disturbing kitchen noise) and too expensive for what it is. Restaurant is a total failure

Cute and comfy hotel in the heart of Holbox! Great and welcoming service and room met the standards in pictures and reviews browsed beforehand. Good value for the nightly rate in the island. The co-operation and shuttle with another hotel down the shoreline was a nice extra feature! Also the breakfast in Restaurant Ki in same premises was awesome surplus. Water pressure in the shower and direction of air conditioning (in our room) are the areas which left hoping for more.

Siesta in Holbox

The staff was amazing the food was delicious and the rooms were really nice!! I highly recommend staying at the hotel siesta. It's a very hospitable hotel that makes your stay at holbox best possible.
