Very good location,friendly staff, nice ambience,clean and practical rooms,great breakfast, good price-performance, and again!...a must-have in Travemünde: parking spaces!

Top of the hotel

We had booked for 10 days and felt very comfortable in the Sunny Room. A nice little hotel with nice, clean rooms and a rich breakfast. The service and staff were very friendly. The location was excellent. A daily walk along the beachfront was a MUST. Passing by large ferries were very nice to watch. Unfortunately, you can't book good weather.

Very nice neighborhood overlooking the Baltic Sea

We had booked a week's break in Corona times and found pure relaxation in this family hotel run by the couple who were professional, very friendly and always diligent. The historic bathroom-style house is only about 50 metres from the beach with its long promenade, our comfort room on the ground floor offered about 30 sqm everything to feel comfortable including a private terrace in front of the window and an extra access from the outside. This very nice room can also be rented with a small lounge for 3 people. Otherwise, it was also pleasant that the toilet was very separate from the shower, there were large TV sets behind the lounge and a mini lounge, as well as a high-rise on the ground floor, with a beautiful passenger lounge and a stylish design in front of the window, and an extra access from the outside. We can also say thank you very much to the hotel staff, and we can say thank you very much to the owner of the hotel, and the owner of the car, who has been able to accommodate the hotel without any expense, and we can continue to appreciate the excellent quality of the interior and the quality of the interior.

Comfortable hotel near a quiet beach

Nice little hotel in Travemünde with the same staff. Beach and beach promenade nearby. It's not far from Lübeck (bus, train but also by train).

The furniture is a bit old-fashioned and old-fashioned but...perfect location, rooms are large and spacious, bathrooms renovated and everything really picobello clean... the reception is super friendly, breakfast wonderful (no fresh fruit salad but a great smoothie for that) good price-performance, we definitely come back....

Before we start to write this review,watch out for the owner 's comment later-on.since it will say everything and should have been a warning before our booking. We would confirm everything that was said before in a critical way and unfortunately,the critical reviews did not lead to the issues to be gotten rid off.what a pity! Now,to beginn with,the atmosphere in this gorgeous art-deco house is cold and hostile.everything depends on the money,you are paying.one does not feel like a dear guest at all. The owner's dog gets its food from the same dish as the guest does, breakfast supply is always refilled, so fresh stuff gets mixed with days -old. Don t ask what i found in my sour creme and jam...coffee is near to undrinkable,no fresh cups if you would like to have a cuppa,too.butter is restricted.yes,of course,you may ask for more,please,but would you like to?!?
Furthermore,the place is too far from the promenade where all people stroll along and have a look at the shop displays. The sea is quite near;though. 
We would not recommend this place. It s shame-there would be a lot of possibilities to improve.

The hotel and the rooms are in a very clean and well maintained condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered leaves no wishes open. Overall, a highly recommended hotel, happy to return.

Very clean and well maintained hotel

The location of the hotel is really great! It's almost impossible to get better. It's only a few meters to the beach. The hotel is a little old, bright and old-fashioned, but clean. The breakfast was fine. The only point of criticism is the missing bathroom door in our room. Between bed and shower there was a curtain. We haven't seen that yet. There are parking spaces, but it's all a little narrow.
