We were very disappointed.  They should not call it an Hotel - it is an airbnb.  Entrance is via a code, which they failed to provide. The room was small. There were cracked tiles in the bathroom.  The TV was small.  We paid £110 for a room. There was no breakfast available, we had to go to a nearby brasserie, not open until 9am, for a breakfast with a 20% discount. Actually the breakfast was ok, but added a further £25 to our budget.  We had been on a 400 mile trip for my husband's big birthday visiting friends and family in the south west and Wales, this last night spoiled what had been a lovely trip.

disappointed - this is not an Hotel.

What an awful company. We were just departing for our weekend away when we had an email notification that this hotel had cancelled our booking. No communication no explanation and their phone number was unobtainable. Luckily we had booked through booking.com and they helped us find another hotel. We had no apology nothing, and  booking.com said this is not the first time this has happened with this hotel -   avoid at all cost.

Cancelled an hour before check in

Accommodation  booked 5th Jan for 15th Feb through Booking .com 
It was  cancelled without apology or explanation , subsequently established that rooms had been over booked.
Consider that this totally unacceptable and this should serve as a warning to future clients

One night stay whilst visiting Cardiff. Had a really warm welcome with plenty of good local advice. Very comfortable room and cracking breakfast!

Perfect city centre hotel

Just stayed in this hotel for two nights. We received a really nice friendly welcome with some tips about where things were situated in the area. The room was really nice, clean and warm. The bed was really comfortable. We would certainly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again soon. Thank you for our short enjoyable stay.

Lovely Hotel

Stayed here while attending a concert at the Cardiff Millenium Centre, which is less than a minutes walk from the front door of the hotel. The room was beautifully kept, comfortable, with an extravagant bath! Staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room cost was much lower than I would have expected for a similar room elsewhere. An ideal hotel for a city break.

Wonderful stay in this fabulous hotel

The positives first - nice big bath, good location in the Bay area and a fantastic Asian restaurant called The Duchess of Delhi right next door. 

However, the attention to cleanliness was not that great, for example we returned to our room and there was half a cold cup of tea still by the bedside. It seems that the cleaners spend time folding the loo paper and towels into ruffles instead. 
For the price we would have expected breakfast to be included, a coffee machine in the room and USB recharging sockets. It's not really that 'boutique' unless you consider custard creams and kids sweets a treat!

The walls are quite thin so bring earplugs.

Less boutique than the name suggests 

This hotel is beautiful, very clean, really accommodating and friendly staff, delicious veggie breakfast! 
I would highly recommend and would gladly stay again!

Beautiful Hotel

When looking for a hotel in/near the centre- joyolons was probably one of the best priced - that said, because of this we did not really have high expectations! Well it exceeded them and we were totally in love with the place. Very pretty and very clean. We only stayed for one night and didn't get a chance to have breakfast there but this will be remedied on our next visit as we will be back! Cant fault our stay at all.

Gorgeous little hotel

Really comfortable and clean hotel with a good breakfast and great staff. Olga, particularly,  was very helpful.
Looking forward to coming back.
The hotel is very close to a number of exceptional restaurants and first class cafe's/bars.
