My family and I stayed four nights at this hotel.The triple room that we were assigned was very spacious, bright, clean and had a TV and a safe.The wifi works very well.All staff are very friendly.The breakfast was right and sufficient (tea, coffee, bread, cheese, sandwiches, yogurts, cherry tomatoes, honey, fresh fruit, eggs...).The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful area, about 800 meters from the train station and 200 meters from a bus and tram stop that takes less than 10 minutes to the center.The quality-price ratio is very good.There is a restaurant on the ground floor and there is a supermarket about 100 meters away.The hotel has 3 floors and no elevator and the large elevator.

The hotel is simple and very recommended.

Back in the crocodile, we were well taken care of, our room at the top, top of the cabin with a beautiful view, bright, cozy and antique, clean and large. We enjoyed the tranquility of the house and after a quiet night, we could enjoy breakfast with everything we wanted. Super nice people in a great hotel at a fair price.

The Crocodile

Here again in the crocodile and now the service was unbeatable. Our support was warm and preferable with many good tips for testing and excursions around. Our room was large and bright, equipped with very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. Breakfast by the classic situation without buffet, or even on the room! The location is close to the old town and the price is very reasonable. We felt very comfortable and will surely come back here to the crocodile!

Staying Good

This small hotel is centrally located in a quiet side street. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, the only drawback was the breakfast buffet, very elementary, but one could breafast until  11 am on weekends and check out at 12 - very good!

A nice place to stay when you are in Heidelberg.

The hotel is clean and well maintained, the rooms are simple and purposefully decorated. You have everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is always friendly and hospitable. Breakfast is available from 7:00 a.m. onwards, for many working people it's very late. A great selection of everything is to find something at the buffet. Only the backpacks come out negatively. In their place are beautiful freshly baked buns from the baker and it would be perfect.

Nice clean hotel.

It's a small, familiar hotel. The receptionist is charming. It's quiet and a 15-minute walk from the train station. The room is spacious and clean, but the bed is uncomfortable, too soft. The bathroom is tiny. It doesn't have air conditioning, so I slept with the window open because it was getting quite hot, there was no noise on the street and I could rest. The breakfast was very quiet. The big stick is that it doesn't have an elevator, so if you go with suitcases or loads upstairs, I give you an approved.

It's not bad.

I spent two nights in a crocodile's cabin. The first night I parked in the wrong parking lot. I was immediately offered the extra price of the house's reserved parking lots. On the way out, I had forgotten my jacket in the closet. I got a call and was offered to send the jacket back. Also at breakfast, all my wishes were fulfilled and I got a freshly cooked egg.

Travelling through Europe we had pre booked this hotel it is a small family run place not far from the charming old town about a ten minute walk. Basic but ideal for a couple of nights. We reserved a parking space outside the front of the hotel without a problem.

Stop off

Charming, traditional, family-run 16 bedroom guesthouse in great location outside of the Altstadt, a suburban district where I would be happy to live. Very bicycle friendly zone. Large, clean room with 3 windows overlooking street below and in earshot of the lovely church bells (across the road corner). Perfect bathroom layout. Next to Krokodil Restaurant serving excellent and exceptionally good value food: we ate here twice during our one night stay. V kind and helpful staff who allowed us to return a bit later than 12:00 checkout so we could shower after our tourist morning out. Would definitely come again! Danke schön!

A little gem guesthouse in charming district outside of the Old Town

Conveniently located, efficient service, modern rooms with bathroom; this hotel (with a built-up dining room) does a lot with little effort. Clean, friendly, reception uncomplicated. Parking options are available in the immediate vicinity. For short visits in HD no road passes the Krkodil.
