I was alone at the hotel for one night. There is no reception. The former lobby of the house is rented out and rancid. The room was clogged and looked like block garbage. The bed was very hard. The best thing about the hotel was the view from the window to the other side of the Rhine from Koblenz.

Parts and accessories of motor vehicles

Pros: Breakfast was very good! We liked it very much. From the hotel it is very easy to get to Kobelmz City: after 2 minutes walking, you reach the bus station. Buses No. 8, 9 and 10 go all the way to KO-City. In front of the hotel there is a parking lot for the car. Sunday is free of charge. The nights are also free. Sunday is not so much. The manager is very nice. We also really liked the facilities of the hotel. We would also recommend having modern music instead of 60 years of music. ;) Con: So... some small beginnings happened: 1) you can't pay with the card; 2) water was cold because the heating system was too cold. But of course it was started immediately.

Everything was fine.

In beds live bedbugs!!! This was confirmed by email contact too. However, despite promises I was never refunded the money. Simply shamelessly. Worst hotel I've ever visited. Unreasonable!!!!

Bed bugs in the hotel!!!!!

Reception is only open for a few hours during the day. I have a somewhat dated and retreating hotel. If the ferries do not leave on the reef on foot to the center it takes at least half an hour on foot. Rooms with a parquet that turns and very hot in the room. Breakfast at 5 euros very good. Attention to the parking in front of the hotel, we got a fine of 10 euros. Vintage other than recently renovated.

This Hotel Marilyn advertises with a picture of Hotel Hoegg - which they are not. In this hotel, there is only one very small staircase, no emergency-exits. We were afraid of bed-bugs. Security wise a no-go-area!

Good Location.Close to the Old Town to the train station and to the cruise boat stop..Very clean..and Cozy..Lots of restaurants around...Owner great...He also has another nice hotel in Boppard...Perfect Cities both to start the river one day cruise.

Romsntic Rhine Hotels

Unfortunately, we had to find that the mattresses were held without a lattice, but only with a kind of metal lattice. Since the mattresses were very thin, they made you very rarely have severe back pain and could not fall into a pleasant sleep, let alone adequate sleep. The rooms on the fourth floor (directly under the ceiling) were very warm themselves and you feel like you got a 24-hour sauna for free. There is no extra elevator and the aisles are very narrow. The hotel is kept simple and very cheap, but I would never volunteer to spend a night in these really bad beds.

Hot rooms & uncomfortable beds

We are just on our way home from our weekend visit to Koblenz. We had a wonderful stay at the Marilyn and the pensioners were really delightful. They and he were very close and in the best sense of the word extremely hard-working. Every few minutes we checked to see if the little breakfast buffet was still full. Although the breakfast was only from 8 to 10 DSL, for the 9:55 Dutch round meeting with tired eyes, we were completely refurbished and baked up. We found saality, smelling and well-kept rooms virgin. The style is very tasty, it's about 50's, we get fresh water from the bathroom.

Sweet and family pesion in a beautiful location

I woke up after four hours of bed bugs. It's disgusting! Now I understand the expression it creaks and flees. Because that's what these animals do when they're in bed with you and you hit the ceiling back. I won't forget the picture, thank you very much for this unique experience. I just hope we didn't get anything out of it. The store is closed, and it's better today than tomorrow.

Bed bugs, take your fingers off!

My first night I was pretty unsure about my lodgings. I'd stayed in a series of hostels in Germany that had been far more welcoming. It was an older man who checked me in, who seemed unenthusiastic, and never explained where the communal shower was (if there was one?). There was no shower in my room, which I think should be included in the price. 

The next morning was great though! I had a lovely breakfast (still dream about that food! and the coffeeeeee!) and conversation with Hamza which got me very excited to explore Koblenz. For this reason I would come back, but maybe upgrade to a room with a shower. The hotel is nice looking and near the attractions in Ehrenbreitstein. And it is near a Lidl. Reaching the hotel involves crossing the river on a boat (2 euro) which was really fun!

Mixed feelings on the hotel, but ultimately a positive review thanks to Hamza! Thank you!
