Apprehensive booking given the reviews we had read but this was literally somewhere to sleep as we were only in Bologna for less than 24hrs. We had requested an early check in as our taxi was due to arrive in Modena around 1pm but were advised this may not be possible but to try. 
We tried, we were not successful and told to come back at 2pm. Finding somewhere to wait seemed problematic at first as it was 1pm and everything was closed, except for the cafe on the corner across the road which is where we headed. 
Having been up since 3am and heading to the RCF Arena at 5pm we were desperately wanting to get our key to freshen up. 
We headed back over to the rooms at 3pm, one hour later than we were told only to be told the room still wasn’t ready and that it would be another 30minutes which was disappointing. We waited in the hallway downstairs until the room was ready. 
At this point expectations were diminishing, we were hot, tired and there was nowhere to eat either so we were all hungry as we had hoped to be able to eat locally when we arrived but nothing reopened until 6:30pm.  Anyway.. room was ready and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was cool, light and spacious. 3 single beds (small singles) with clean crisp bedding, an E suite, a fridge, a safe, air con which was slow but did the job and a bathroom with a shower so we were all happy. The road outside is busy throughout the afternoon/early evening but this reduces. We arrived back at 2am and it was fairly quiet. We left at 10am the next morning. Again, nothing was open so unable to grab coffee or breakfast before heading back to the airport which was a shame 
For one night or a pit stop would recommend but without a kettle and some coffee available it isn’t a long term stay. There is not reception area.
It would have been good if we had been offered to leave our bags when we couldn’t check in too. 
Front door was open the entire time but perhaps that’s common in Italy. 
Overall I would rate 2.5 but that’s not available so I gave 3 stars ⭐️ 


Apprehensive booking 

Excellent quality price ratio, Mr. Sergio is very available, you are comfortable in this facility, the room is very comfortable, equipped with TV, microwave and refrigerator.

Great stay

I stayed for one night in this little house that offers all the comforts! The room was great clean with a very special furnishing including beautiful original wooden beams and comfortable and spacious bathroom with large shower! Really nice and more available in a common area there is an electric coffee machine where you can prepare one without taking more than two steps if you need to heat something there is a microwave oven proemi just outside the door in complete relaxation and privacy....with the tranquility you have at home!!!! Comfortable parking and all the amenities including two super super shops! Not to mention the winery right under the house.....I advise you to stop there for comfort and the cleaning of the room both for the discretion of the managers and if you are lucky to meet a young boy and travel you will be greeted with kindness and kindness!

Restricted work trip regenerating

The rooms are furnished in a very vintage style, spacious, with television, wifi and air conditioning, safe. A decently spacious bathroom with shower (improved) but with no bidets and few shelves to support the stuff. Unfortunately the rooms have old doors, which make the noise and light of the corridor pass through.

Unreported potential

I stayed at Casa del Viandante for the whole summer period after returning from years of transfer of work abroad. I think the location in the neighbourhood of Madonnina is strategic, in fact just below the structure come buses no. 9 and 5 which allow you to easily reach the center going to the left and the main shopping centers going to the right. The area is also rich in commercial activities with the Conad reachable on foot in 5 Min. The staff is very kind and available, my room was also equipped with microwaves that I found useful when I wanted to do something on the flight, also in the corridor there is a coffee machine available. For these reasons I always recommend long-term stays to those who do not want to engage with the rent of a flat.

Strategic position and courtesy

... business trip in three, a room with three beds, very comfortable, huge bathroom and quiet room, perfect internet, very clean every day from the internal service, excellent price ratio.

I call the manager on Thursday to set up a room for the next Monday. The manager explains the type of room, the price and reassures me about the booking. When I arrive on Monday morning, when I had already left for my trip, I call the manager several times to request the possibility of an advance check without receiving any response. Finally in the late morning, after the next call, the manager answers me who provides me via SMS the number of a coworker to hear for the advance check. I call the coworker who informs me that to my disguise the room is not actually available, offering me one in a facility near the same price, which of course is not.

Unfaithful Behaviour

I've been to this room before, it's not a B&B, it's in another room, it's still on the street but it's above the entrance, it wasn't bad at all. The room where I was staying, this time, was upstairs at a bar. Until 24.45, there was a big noise coming from a kid upstairs running up and down the house. Then from 5 in the morning the bar downstairs opens (to make some really nasty homemade pasta) and turns on the TV.

A truly disastrous experience

Usually when I go to Romagna,if I can,I always stop by the area.I booked through Booking.I read some negative reviews that I do not share.I found a very clean room, with a single-dose bathtub, clean towels and a very comfortable bed.Of course, breakfast service is very simple and essential but,underneath there is an agreed bar where with only 3 euros you can get back to duty.Maybe the owner should have told me right away because I discovered it by chance but these are not the problems of life!

To reach the sea

I have to say that only last year I visited over 200 hotels. I never had any experience of this kind. Most of all I didn't know I was in Emilia Romagna known for its hospitality. When I got to the front door of the hotel they told me that they just booked by phone so my room booked by booking was no longer available. I'm staying here not to say more than those excuses that no child would have said on the phone from the manager. I just added that I lost 2 hours walking around to the hotel and returning to the starting point.
