Great restaurant with a lovely view

I've been in this b&b for a paoooo years and I must say I found the very nice and courteous housewife very nice and the room was more than comfortable and really nice.

That's nice.

It's an interesting combination. It's a beautiful place, but it's worth a visit. I'll come back the next time. It's super friendly and pleasant.

The Commission has already adopted a proposal for a regulation.

We were having an extended holiday on lake garda and stopped at this lovely B&B for 5 nights. It's a large contemporary property just 5 mins walk out of the town center. There are 3 rooms on the ground floor with a reception room also used as a breakfast room  the owners residence is completely separate on the 1st and second floor. Our room was on the side of the house so we had a patio area with sun beds table and chairs. The other two rooms are on the front of the house and face directly onto the garden and main road, although the property is up on a hill. The room was spacious enough with tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning (needed in this area during the summer). Bed was relatively comfortable  (I like a supportive  but soft bed) also a low table/draw unit to place a large suitcase. A double wardrobe with room on top to place a suitcase. Also bedside cabinets with draws for storage. Plenty of different lighting to choose from. 
Bathroom - great facilities with lovely shower,  bidet etc. Hairdryer supplied and toiletries. The owner is a lovely Danish lady  who was very accommodating. You feel that she has seen to all the minor details of a stay at a B&B. 
Breakfast was served between 8:15 -9:30 but she is flexible with providing food on the go. One couple was leaving early on Wednesday morning so she gave them what they needed at breakfast  on Tues to put in their fridge in the room. 
We gad to be out of our room by 10 and we're not being collected by the taxi firm until 16:40 so she gave us a key for the reception breakfast room and we left our luggage there and were able to change there before travelling to the airport. Thus fave us the opportunity to have another full day in lake garda. 
When we got back she had left a note and a large bottle of water and some biscuits for us which was very thughtful. 

Lake garda

We just spent six nights here. Spotlessly clean and adequately appropriate especially for the price. The very best part is Karinna, the owner--high energy, multi--lingual and full of useful information to make your stay perfect. The place is perfectly situated between the train station and the city center and if she doesn't know the answer, she will find it out for you. Only downside, bring your own soap and shampoo! Highly recommend and would stay again, if in the area.if you have a car, spacious car park within the property.

Brilliant location short walk to train and town. Lovely room, good value with continental breakfast. Lovely and very helpful host. Strongly  recommend.  Great for solo travellers

Excellent

La Doce Vita is a really great place to stay, as a base for touring and exploring Lake Garda.  Just a 5 minute stroll into the main town & the lakeside, the hostess, Karina could not be more helpul, either before arrival or during your stay.  It was great to be able to park up our hire car without worrying about it.  The room is comfortable, with good wi-fi.  We wanted to leave early on our first day to travel up to the north end of the lake, so we got plenty of cakes, coissants, fruit juice etc supplied to eat in our room before we set off.  The breakfast on our second day was served in ther breakfast room with ample really good fresh bread, cereals, juice & coffee, while having a great chat with Karina, who offered us great advice for our trip to Verona.

We could not have been happier with our stay, and would definately look to stay here again when staying in Desenzano

Great little B&B in excellent location

I want to say a big thank you to the hotel's owner Karina, who carries her guests around like her own children, makes sure everyone is satisfied, satisfied and advises how to make your holiday at the Garde unforgettable. The hotel is very easy to find whether you are walking to or from the train station from Verona or Milan. There is free parking on the premises, there are lounges for recreation, in the rooms of the teahouses and tea-coffee stands, small refrigerators, rooms furnished in style and cleaned perfectly. By Italian standards, breakfast was quite satisfying, and Karina's recommendations for choosing restaurants for dinner were very convenient!

Sweet Life on the Gardens

We spent two nights in this B&B. The location is really exceptional, a few minutes from downtown Desenzano and 10 minutes from the beaches. The room we stayed in was very large and comfortable, all new, comfortable bathroom and tastefully furnished room. The air-conditioned and mini-fridge room that you can use freely and of course there is the TV. The B&B has only three rooms, all on the ground floor and outside there are chairs and tables where you can sit in peace. The owner is very friendly and available, the breakfast room is cozy. The small B&B also offers space so the use of the car is reduced to a minimum. If they return to Desenzano we will have no doubt where to stay.

Just returned from a very pleasant stay with Karina at La Dolce Vita.

Be aware this is not a hotel. The rooms are fairly basic but are spotlessly clean and really have everything you need - including a comfortable bed!!! Each room has some outside furniture and there are a few sunbeds in the garden which guests can use.

Karina, the owner is very helpful and cannot do enough for guests regarding information, organisation etc. She and her family live upstairs so there is a reasonable amount of comings and goings, which may bother some people but not us - felt like you were in a proper Italian home, rather than some characterless hotel.

Breakfast is a little basic but adequate - small personal niggle but as decent fruit juices are not expensive to buy, it bugs me when places provide the sweetened cheap versions.

Would definitely stay here again!
