 My husband and I stayed 3 nights at short notice in apartment 6. It was rather disappointing. The main problem was that it just didn’t feel clean. When we arrived I went straight to make a cup of tea and the cutlery and cutlery tray were so dirty with crumbs and grime that I had to wash everything before I could even start. Similarly cups were badly tea stained. When we sat down for the cup of tea I happened to notice my husband’s white socks. They were disgusting, the floor was filthy. Not grubby, filthy! We are in the habit of removing our shoes at the doorway but we didn’t make that mistake twice. 
We didn’t use the balcony because, once again the table , chairs and floor tiles  looked so grubby. There was even an item of someone’s washing there, which remained there for the entire 3 days. My only venture out there was to pull the clothes airer close enough to the door so that I could reach it without going outside. 
Another issue was that the bedroom light in the double bedroom kept randomly turning on. This happened 5 times on the third night! It was like torture. 
The remote control for the tv didn’t work, probably due to the fact that the batteries were held in by sellotape. Perhaps if reception had been open at any stage during our stay and we had met the managers, we could have mentioned these problems, but we didn’t see anyone at check in or checkout or in between.
I feel that it’s only fair that I mention the good things. The location close to Northcliffe tram was excellent. There is a super cafe round the corner, called Chickery Chick, where the food is great, the owner is very friendly and the prices are good. We normally self cater, but for obvious reasons , we decided not to use the kitchen except for cups of tea. 
The beds in the apartment were definitely clean and comfortable so , as we only used the apartment for sleeping, I suppose that it served its purpose. 
Other reviewers appear to have had a completely different experience which leads me to wonder if the managers were on holiday when we visited. 



Disappointing 

Very disappointed. We stay unit 2. Photos tells all - blinds not working for all the rooms it’s on the ground floor people walk pass can see through . Stains stains stains everywhere even on the bed lining. Bathroom shower just gross 

Unit 2 horrible 

Le Chelsea was in a lovely location, so close to the beach. Staff were friendly, I had a light bulb blow during my stay and the gentleman came and fixed it straight away. Internet was great and my bed was comfortable and clean.

I recommend it. Great value for money.

I have stayed before in units 1, 6 and 11.

We love the Le Chelsea and the staff.
 it’s great value for money. We have everything we need and it’s in a handy location. Owners and the team are always helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean and well appointed.

We have been 1 night in the hotel. 
The Manager Family was very friendly and helpful. 
The appartement was clean but a little dated. But the appartement has a very good location, you can walk to surfers paradise and just a few minutes by uber to broadbeach.
A great plus is the parking garage for one car. 
It is a very good appartement house with a good price in a very good Location.

Weekend Trip 

First floor 2 br apartment for 4 people. Pretty basic, nothing flash but comfortable enough. I didn't cook during our stay but the kitchen didn't have a window or an exhaust fan, not too good if cooking. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan either, just a small window. The ceiling fan in lounge was not working. Nice quiet location, but close enough to walk into buzzy Surfers. Sadly pool was ungoing repairs during our stay. Nice, helpful hosts.
