The best price ratio in Montargis

Hotel very well located in the center of Montargis! Welcome staff, from the beginning to the end of the stay! Room on the 2nd floor... quite large with a refurbished bathroom! 2 twin beds with very comfortable mattresses! On the other hand the hotel deserved double glazing, both for the cold (we at -3° + snow), we had cold, and for the noise of cars! The heating, apparently a bathroom air conditioner, inefficient and noisy!! Fortunately the bathroom heating worked!! In the bathroom, a plastic toilet glass, shiny and shiny trash, no pressure in the kitchen!! Breakfast at 8 very basic... 2 euros per bathroom, 3 euros per bathroom, 1 half a room per bathroom... What to justify this on a plastic glass glass table!!!

It's a shame, because it's a nice place.

Negative points: Parking concerns, crowded city centre, communal parking in a paid area. Contact with employees rather impersonal, instructions given very quickly. At the hotel's living areas, negative points regarding obsolescence, wear and tear and tasks (staircase carpet, painting). Narrow staircase, uneven steps in height. In the room, old furniture, dirty cloth chairs, simple glazing, window giving indoor air conditioners, ventilation... the bathroom should be kept clean, the bathroom should be cleaned, the bathroom should be cleaned, the bathroom should be cleaned.

Night stage, old-fashioned and not 'pictorial' at all

Even if you walk around the Plkace de la République twice, you can't find the hotel. It hides behind a spicy Fruits of the Sea sign. When we got there, we had to go to the side street (parking in the square earlier!) and knock on the next door without any sign. Then a young, unfriendly lady appeared, who accompanied us up several neck-breaking stairs to the rooms. With heavy luggage, this is impossible and the reception lady doesn't offer the slightest help. The rooms themselves were clean but simply furnished for purpose. But both the impossible staircase and the researchers of the reception would keep us from visiting this house.

We have to find the hotel first!

This has got to be the worst hotel in France.  To say we were not made welcome is to put it mildly.  We walked in and were stared at by the staff.  We asked if there was a room and a very rude, sullen young lady showed us a room on the top floor.  As I attempted to step into the room to view it, she barred my way with her arms and said I had to say whether or not I wanted the room BEFORE I could look it!  In fact, the room was fine - it was the staff who were the problem.  This young woman continued to be surly - everything was too much trouble.  We ate there in the evening - the food wasfine but the hotel was really being run for the benefit of the staff and their pals.  In a way it was good, as they left us alone, but really!

The Fawlty Towers of France

We only stayed here one night because we were passing, and we also had dinner (excellent menu, neat and tasty). As noted, it is a restaurant with rooms, but the rooms are clean and pretty. The access ladder is a bit crooked and there is no elevator, but the price ratio is good. I would not stay more than one night anyway...

We found each other good.

Stayed here for a few nights.  Rooms are desent but the climate controle in the rooms is not working so well. Room is very warm at night and the control for the heating is not in the room. Cleaning of the room was done in the late afternoon, at 5 pm. Shower has a lack of warm water after a short period. Room is direct next to the road and very noisy. Personal is very friendly and helpful. 

Poor quality

Two nights instead of four rooms 202 avoided bad connection to the TV shower you have to pour water 5 minutes before you have hot water the sink is rather a hand wash black mold window no double glazing

On the weekend at a friend's house, we come to this hotel for the second time. We were very kindly received by the manager. The rooms are simple but clean,(small bemool for the plinths and shelves a little tired, and a bathtub a little exquisite). All this is offset by a good price ratio, very reasonable and sufficient for a night or two; we requested extra pillows and we got them easily and the next morning we enjoyed the coffee offered! Thanks again for your hospitality!

Warm reception, good quality price ratio

Our room can only be described as a garret! The curtain was hanging off the rail,the TV did not work, there was no WiFi, the basin was coming away from the wall....if anyone had leant on it too hard it would have fallen off the wall. There was no bedside table so had to use a chair! Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as we were up two very steep flights of stairs. Breakfast was very basic... Rolls and jam and expensive!! Will not be staying again!
