We didn't sleep here but we came together with a friend, a local guy who makes stops during his horseback rides. The structure reflects everything and for all the nature of the agriturismo. Bringing houses and abundant. It's not without taste and quality. The owner is a person at hand. Outside the green is taken care of, I present joysticks for children and I also see that they finished the pool. In 2016 they had started the work.

What to say...all good! typical Sicilian food with varied and abundant snacks, with sweets and coffee included in the menu. excellent and cordial service. We will definitely return to try the b&b service with open pool day and night. thank you very much for the wonderful day

A farmhouse not far from the family-run ponds. The owners have shown themselves available and attentive.

Great stop after the pond trekking.

We stayed in a B&B and half boarding house for 4 days from 5 to 9 September 2018. Lagriturismo is not easily reachable, the shortest road from Avola is upstream, full of curves but also panoramic. I recommend using a navigator to reach the property because there are no clear indications. That said, the farmhouse is immersed in the middle of the countryside at about 400 meters above sea level, there is the presence of various plants and numerous animals. Point of the structure, the pool, beautiful, clean and large. The rooms are not the highest comfort but are equipped with air conditioner and TV and on the other hand if you choose the accommodation in the farmhouse you cannot claim the luxury of the dining room. The dining room is a very nice place, always in a nice and comfortable way, and we have a wonderful breakfast room, but I like to say that every morning we have plenty of friends and family members, but I like to repeat this wonderful experience.

Fantastic Surprise

Mr. Enzo who runs the place is very nice and available, but it's not enough, maybe he would need someone to help him. The structure is new, but the garden should be looked after better and even the cleaning of the rooms is not the maximum.

There's potential, but...

If we had not inserted the geographical coordinates on the navigator, we would hardly have been able to reach it, since the three signs that annex the structure are totally fading and therefore unreadable. The Enzo is a friendly person and is extremely available to meet the needs of customers, always engaged in activities related to the maintenance of the structure. In the face of this cordiality, however, the results we have encountered during the lighting and lighting in our rooms are notoriously difficult to achieve, as we need to ensure that all of the rooms are fully accessible, especially if the rooms are in good condition and with a good temperature, and if we want to maintain them, we can make sure that the rooms are fully accessible.

Advantages and disadvantages of an isolated rural landscape

When we arrived we were a bit doubtful: nothing special, very Spartan, vintage, not very well-groomed, etc. We came in the evening and we asked if it was possible to have dinner... without notice. The owner Enzo (BUDEEEEEEEEEEE GRANDEEEEEEEEEEEEE) was a little surprised, even because his wife was not present....but he agreed. We went to the shower and we called the dining room a tide of small, simple, genuine antiques!!!!!!!!!!!!.... we came to the production of his own food and we arrived at the VERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We arrived at the next day's most expensive meal and we had a great dinner party.

Arriving in company on the premises, to enjoy a day of relaxation and rest on a hot summer day, I feel satisfied with the complexity and expectations of the place and service (already tried before) satisfied!Educated and available staff, the essential presence in the overnight room, excellent dining (relative to the price) and the presence of lovely and friendly companion animals!

After spending a beautiful week at this greatly located "agriturismo" I can strongly recommend it.
I contacted the owners as I wanted to visit the remarkable Natural Reserve Cavagrande which is a walking distance from their place. 
Enzo picked me up in Avola and kindly provided a bike for the following days. Thus I managed to explore also the surroundings riding both along the seaside (down to the Vendicari Natural Reserve) and inland (including Noto Antica and Canicattini Bagni).  This is to point out that a variety of landscapes and interesting destinations is easily at hand starting from this agriturismo.

Besides, the hardworking Antonella and Enzo are great and helpful hosts taking their job very seriously. 

Food is home made with excellent ingredients from their own farm as it should be in a real agriturismo. Antonella is the creative motor in the kitchen but also Enzo does very well especially with his traditional, delicious almond's milk. Not to say about Concetto's ricotta and high quality cheese which are, by themselves, worth coming here. Try also Antonella's lemon soup and eggplants based Sicilian recipes.

Rooms and services are comfortable and prices are right.  Shortly said: Le Mangiatoie del Re Giordano is a place where you can quickly feel at home.
