My wife and I stayed at Le Vert Brocage after unfortunately having a puncture nearby. After being on the phone to the RAC for over 3 hours they informed us that we dont have breakdown cover (They phoned 2 DAYS later to say we were covered and do we need assistance!!- ongoing)
Needless to say when we arrived at the hotel we were tired and stressed, we were welcomed by Sigrid on reception who was FANTASTIC. We explained what had happened and she immediately liaised with her boss who phoned a local garage and arranged to have our tyre checked the next morning. 
She booked us into room 204 which was excellent, large very clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and shower which was spotlessly clean with soft fluffy towels . We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious evening meal and were very well looked after by the "boss" and his staff.
We are looking forward to returning to this hotel again although hopefully under better circumstances!
Big thank you to all at the hotel especially Sigrid who even left us her phone number to help with any translation as her English is excellent , our French sadly is not.

Excellent stay superb customer service.

Arranged a business lunch with Customers after a visit to Carrier Factory. The Lunch was good and the service was ok. English is not a language frequently spoken in this region so the menu was in French and required translation.
Otherwise nothing spectacular. The lunch was enjoyable.

Business Lunch

We stayed here at the end of June as a stop-over on the way back to Calais.  It is much easier to find coming from the south if you go east and follow country roads, avoiding the centre of Rouen.  We stayed here two or three years ago and then had a very small room and although dinner was good then, the restaurant was fairly quiet, not always a good thing.  This time, our room was much larger, almost family sized, although the decor and bathroom are a bit faded; it was at the side of the hotel, so fairly quiet.  The great change was in the restaurant which was buzzing - absolutely packed - although the service was very friendly and efficient.  The meal was excellent - tasty terrine, good rare steak, followed by a huge icecream, together with a reasonable bottle of house wine.  We didn't have breakfast but our double room and meal for two cost a great value 127 euros.

Excellent restaurant

I would describe this hotel as a restaurant with rooms.  the restaurant is superb with a good menu and a fantastic chef.  The hotel however is somewhat different.  The rooms are clean and look good, however there is a lot of outside noise unless the window is closed.  Also, it is a pity that the hotel management don't have a test sleep on each bed especially if the mattresses are sprung.  We spent 3 days there and at the end I had an aching neck and shoulder from the uncomfortable bed.  Also, don't spend Sunday there!  We were told that the restaurant wasn't open Sunday evening but we could have Sunday lunch instead.  Since this is an institution in France, we agreed.  The lunch was very good, and afterwards we went to our room to rest - I went outside to have a cigarette(I know, don't moan!).  At 4pm a member of staff came and told me that they were locking up and leaving the premises and to use the key code we had been given (we thought that was just if we went out late at night!).  With that I went inside up to our room and told my husband that we were effectively locked in, and on our own in the hotel.  we were able to get out having found the card with the number on, and eventually found the parking compound key so that we were able to retrieve things from our car.  Not a good day!!
Don't be put off by our experience - just don't stay over a Sunday!  The staff are very welcoming and hospitable.

Disappointing

Disappointment, having read other reviews, that the room was just adequate. Road noise in the morning was quite loud and the service I recieved again was just adequate especially as on arrival I was told the hotel was full and they didn't know anything about my booking even though I showed them the confirmation from Hotels.com Breakfast again was just adequate 1 croissant, 1 piece of bread, a couple of sachets of jam & butter, orange juice and a cup of tea for @ 7 €.
