We booked a single room during new year and it was the worst decision we could made:
Staff unmotivated, a mess everywhere, young dog without leash and a girl sleeping behind the reception on a couch!

Our room:
DIRTY!!! No other comment, I never felt so uncomfortable before and tried 3 days not to touch the floors, couch or the awfully carpets. Sleeping is because of the noises of the restaurant downstairs impossible.

Sorry, the house has such a great architecture, but the employees are ruin everything with their not available motivation and the dirt they don’t want to see!

Dirty room, unfriendly staff, worst stay ever!

Currently have a person abusing and dealing drugs in room 11. He tried to pick pocket me whilst I was asleep as I wore my hoodie in bed. I shouted at him and backed off. He was spraying air freshener all around the room for about 2 minutes it was giving me a headache. I have a good mind to report it to local authorities. He did not sleep the whole night.room 11. No one in reception when I wanted to complain. Too afraid to complain because I don't believe they would have got rid of him and would have left me with him. I only stayed one night on my first night. Please don't stay here at the moment. He has red pills in sealed bag on the table and he is rolling up what appears to be cannabis. He is a handful.

Don't stay here

I was charged 68 euros at arrival, however I had paid for my hotel staying in advance, when I was booked via a web-based travel agency.
By the way the personals were so cold, and I did not feel welcome. 
I NEVER recommend it.

Terrible

This place is in a great location close to every with a short walk from the historical locations and is very cheap for the location it can get very loud at night due to a very nice bar underneath the rooms but we spent some amazing times in there the staff are super friendly and very helpful and got to meet some very interesting people who where staying in the hostel too room was very small and compact bed didn’t look like it was going to be very comfortable but it did sleep well would stay again only due to location and price but this place would not be for everyone as they say you get what you pay for 

Great location and cheap 

I'll keep it short and sweet:

Positives:
- great location
- very helpful and friendly staff
- good value for money
- huge bed (double room) 

Negatives:
- small, badly organised room (the bed was absolutely huge which left less space to put things)
- not the cleanest room (dirty walls)
- lot of noise at night 

Apart from this, when I first sat on the bed I thought it was very uncomfortable but, the mattress and duvet is very thin, but I actually slept very well all 3 nights. Overall a good experience!

Great staff and location, small rooms 

I would recommend anyone who is thinking about staying here not too... although it is a cheap place to stay the state of the rooms, bathrooms and general feel about the place is awful. The rooms have a very bed smell to them and feel like they haven’t been cleaned for a while. Bathrooms all need re-doing and more staff to clean and maintain them... all in all there are better hostels out there.

Only stay if must..

This hostel is pretty good value for the location. Only a short walk to the historical bits and there’s bars, restaurants and a SPAR in the same street close by. The hostel is quirky with some fun paint work. There’s also a great bar on site. The only negative is the mattresses and pillows are very old, soft and lumpy. They need to be replaced. And, no aircon, like so much of Europe. 

Good value, great location

The kindest staff ever! Informative, effective, seemed like they loved there jobs! Love the hostel. Stayed for one night. Was supposed to have a double bed room, but unfortunately previous guest forgot to close the window and water damage from rain had messed it up. We were immediately offered another bunkbed room - okay, not what we hoped for, but they gave a nice discount because of the inconvenience. The facilities was great. I would definitely go there again :-) They will get five stars next time when we'll try there beautiful honeymoonsuite ;-) 

Great staff, perfect location 

We spent one night in the hostel. I would like the mention a smile is free (receptionist).
We arrived around 8:30 pm. There is a a bar in the middle of the hostel where the music was too loud. Our room was on the second floor and we could hear eveyrhing. It was disturbing. We asked the receptionist if there was a party, she answered it's only today and they finish at at midnight. It wasn't true beacuse the finished around 2 am so we could not sleep well. If u want to rest i dont recomment this place.
I read the comments about the hostel and that is when I realized that there was a regrural party.
There was a very bad smell in the bathroom.
If  you are a party animal I recommend the place otherwise I DON'T.

Not the best choice

I stayed here because there were no availability in any of the hotels and hence we (me and my friends) landed here for a night.
trust me, i did not regret here to stay in. This was my first hostel experience and i was overwhelmed. i loved it! the beds were good. they had locker facility. Stay was safe.
staff was helpful. They had area near the lobby where you can just relax and chill with beer.
No restrictions at all while you stay there. I will recommend for friends/cousin travel and also for a family who are crazy enough to enjoy hostel
