When we finally found out that we had to check in somewhere else, we were asked for 150 euros in deposit to be able to give us the room, a stolen one, we did not enter and we cancelled the reservation with the corresponding cargo. At 10 p.m. we were left on the street.

The worst in the hotel room

We stayed at magic atrium 4 apartments in La  Vila joiosa last week and the 1st day we got there was so stressful as we was not allowed into the apartment as we  had to get a taxi into benidorm to check in at a different hotel and pay a 150 deposit that we knew nothing about.  The check-in hotel  is about  a 3mile journey. We was not told this before hand!!  after a couple of hours we managed to get into our apartment which was 14floors up. The apartment itself  was huge with 2 bathrooms & 3 bedrooms  but it was a self catering apartment and all the cutelry and utensils was dirty so we had to eat out which was expensive. We had no kettle and a tiny dirty pan to boil water for tea.  And our 1st night was itchy as there was sand in the bed, we was no where near a beach until the following day.. Our 1st initial view was a building site opposite. The shower head was broken and the floors was dirty, we didn't let it spoil our holiday as it was my 1st time abroad and we was determined to enjoy it. We had a knock at the door  and it was a builder and the owner of the apartment asking to put pictures on the wall, we didn't mind this as they was lovely. Overall Spain was beautiful and the people there was amazing and it hasn't put us off, we will be visiting Spain in October but certainly won't be staying in them apartments ever again!!

Terrible apartment with Building site view

Terrible. Arrived and were eager to check in, but it took a good half an hour to find the correct building, before being told that we needed to travel to Benidorm to check in. On checking in, we were told that we had to pay 150 euros deposit, having already thought that we had paid in full. Another taxi journey back from Benidorm, and we were almost 200 euros out of pocket, with deposit and taxis. The apartment was very basic and there was damage to the furniture and walls, and the general state of the apartment was dirty, including cutlery and crockery. There was also sand in the bed, which was both surprising and disgusting, as we had not been to the beach. As another person has also said, we also had a visit from a workman who wanted to measure up, and put pictures on the walls. I would not ever stay here again, and wouldn't recommend to anyone. It was cleaner when we left than when we arrived. 

Stay somewhere else!!

When we booked this for 8 days in February it looked great online, We booked with hotels.com only to be told our booking had been cancelled a few days later as we didn’t make the payment through the hotels separate payment site.  This was quite annoying as the hotel then contacted us to book direct with them at a much higher price than originally quoted and if we didn’t  we would be subject to 50% cancellation fee, after being  threatened with legal proceedings we unwillingly paid and rebooked, But it fact it was them who cancelled our booking in the first place. 

The apartment itself was situated in a great location and the apartment was okay,  the apartment is advertised as “fully equipped kitchen”  this wasn’t the case. We booked this apartment so we could cook and feed ourselves as eating out can be very expensive, so we chose this apartment so we could eat-in and cook in the Fully Equipped kitchen. There is not one single cooking utensil only basic cutlery supplied? 

The bed in the bedroom was not suitable to sleep in as the base of the bed was loose, so the bed rocked side to side when you laid in it, luckily there was a sofa bed in the living room which we slept in. 

The apartment was advised with WIFI but there was none.

Then things  took a turn for the worse when there was building work right above our room from 8am - 5pm 5 of the days. The apartment felt like it was actually shaking!

The cherry on the top was when one of the builders let himself into our apartment to “measure up the windows” which was totally unacceptable. 

All these issues were brought up to the helpline number given to us at check in (which is actually situated in Benidorm) at the start of our stay so maybe we could be moved to another apartment. But all this was ignored, We actually had to leave the apartment and rebook another hotel at an extra expense. 

Its been a horrendous stay with no sleep/rest and honestly don’t advise anyone to book this place.

Aweful

The apartment is very complete, with a bedroom with a wedding bed and a living room with a sofa bed, both very comfortable; kitchen, room with a bathroom and a bathroom,... and a large, covered terrace with an incredible view (floor 25). From the apartment you can access the hotel via a pedestrian path. It is also next door, if anything. Near the apartment you can park all over the street. We moved the car several times and had no problem finding a place. The services of the hotel are very comfortable. The spacious dining room, with a good buffet in which we do not have a sense of reception at the moment. There is a huge variety of dining room, dining room and dining room.

It's been a fantastic week.

We stayed here October half term 3 nights as family of 9 in 2 rooms. 1 room was on 24th floor slept 4 and and other 14th slept 5/6 but not ideal if you are scared of heights and have young children. We moved furniture to barricade balcony so kids couldn’t get out 

We originally booked magic tropical splash but needed to change dates and the splash was fully booked so as this is just over the road/dried up river seemed good idea and cost a lot less 

The all inclusive is at magic tropical splash and you still get fridge full of soft drinks/beer/water & big bottle of cava on arrival so the 5 minute walk for a much lower price seemed well worth it for us however my mam who is less mobile struggled 

Apartment was actually much better than pics on website and certainly much more modern. The bathrooms all looked newish and the bed mattress was immaculate 

Food in the splash was quite good always found something and the drinks were all branded

Would I stay again hmmmm kids loved it over at splash so maybe for the love of the kids we could do a few nights break again but certainly not a full week lol

Better than expected 

The apartment, more spacious than expected, is in Tower 2, very close to the Tropical where we have all the services.A three-minute walk.Spectacular views.Price quality unbeatable.Recommended 100%.

It was genius!!

We stayed from August 12 to 19, 2018, two families in two apartments, with an extra room with air conditioning with a new device, the room with supposedly centralized air conditioning, the room with a centralized conduit of air conditioning, the room in the apartment on the 1st floor that is right behind the hotel, but the room in the room with a simple air conditioning system, and then we enjoyed the services of the hotel. As for the apartments, one on the second floor and the other was the attic on the 27th floor, there are quite a few differences between the two, the apartment on the second floor of a bedroom, the living room with air conditioning with a new device, the room with supposedly centralized air conditioning, the room with a centralized conduit of air conditioning, but the room in the upper floor of the hotel, which is located just a few minutes behind the hotel and then we were able to enjoy the services of the hotel.

 Family holidays.

I stayed for several days and checked that they had lights and shadows. to begin with, they were apartments for 6 people, and we only had a few keys, which are necessary to open several doors before arriving at the apartment. nothing happened, there was a bell to call if you want to open, but... it didn't work. to conclude, you had to go out and arrive at the same time, or be on the phone to be opened, and of course, at certain times, it was impossible. The rooms were not from the other world, the air conditioning was in the living room, so they didn't reach the rooms as soon as they were, in addition, the eight-liter water bottle that was on the balcony was in a single day, and the reception room was on the balcony below the building, which was the final resting place of the boat.
