A quiet complex on the marina side of Lagos.  Up a large hill, but only a 15 min. walk into town and convenient parking.  A pool in the complex and our unit was clean and comfortable. Ground floor units all have large balconies and ours had afternoon sun. The management office was Vitasol and units were available via rental agencies as well as online booking sites in multiple languages.

Marina Park Lagos

Lights are broken, plugs are broken, the side roller terrace is broken, gear is broken. No sign of breakfast, location + swimming pool times. On the e-heard one plate is broken at all, the other three are no heat possible, roasting meat or making mirror guides is impossible. The front door lock is broken, had to climb out of the hallway window to lock the door from the outside.

The positives:
Location for beaches, town and water parks
Lots of space for kids to run around
Ease of parking
Size of the apartment
Easy walk into town with a lot of restaurants, bars
Beautiful beaches nearby
Towels and toilet roll were supplied

The negatives:
Very uncomfortable, very hard bed mattress
Works by the pool were being carried out (surely this could have been done in the low season before the Easter break)
Washing up liquid, spongers not supplied
No kettle in the apartment, so we used a saucepan to boil water.
You have to pay 5 euros per day to hire a router for wifi, plus 50 euro deposit which seems odd in my experience

Could be so good

I can only say Thank You very much 😊! Spend a week with friends and I couldn't enjoy it anymore!!! Totally recommended! Cleanliness, pool, facilities, exceptional staff and administrator. Excellent professionals Who will help you with everything you need! Keep going.

Spectacular 

Staying her currently, arrived Wednesday the 29th of August go home again the 5th of September. Can’t fault apartments and pool area is very nice but what we don’t understand is that the onsite shop sells floats and balls for the pool but you cannot use them in the pool!! Staying with my partner and our friends with their two children, we bought two rings and a ball to use at the pool from the MARINA PARK SHOP!! On the Thursday we went to the pool and were just floating around in our rings, not messing about, from about 12pm. 4.30pm came around and a guy who claimed to be the ‘life gaurd’, who also rakes the leaves and waters the grass and who has not been seen all day just appears in the evening, comes over to us shouts at us, in the least polite way possible, to get out the pool!! Bearing in mind there was a 3 year old floating about in one of the rings. We got out and went back to our rooms anyway. The next day we were at the pool again, arrived at 12pm never saw the ‘lifeguard’ until 4pm, there was young children playing with a ball in the pool and the ‘lifeguard’ tells them to stop using the ball or he will kick it away!! I’m sorry but that is no way to speak to anyone and it is highly unprofessional!!! Like I said the site is good, rooms are clean but I DO NOT RECOMMEND taking your family here to be treated that way. What kind of pool area does not allowed children to play with rings and balls, that is all apart of a child’s holiday experience. AVOID FOR YOUNG FAMILIES!!!!

AVOID IF YOU HAVE A YOUNG FAMILY AND ENJOY THE POOL

The condo we stayed in was spacious and comfortable.  It had plenty of bedroom and bathroom space for our family of 4, and the kitchen had enough tools for us to cook and eat in most nights of our stay. The park itself is nice, with a great pool for after visiting the beach.

It is important to note that guests need to provide their own supplies, including toilet paper, cleaning supplies (for kitchen and laundry), paper towels, and beach towels.  (Common in some destinations, unexpected in others... good to know before arriving!)

Nice place to stay with family

When we booked this apartment, in the hotel section, on the web they named it Costa Mar, which made it seem that it was an apartment within a hotel. No, it is simply a holiday apartment, nothing more, within the Marina Park urbanisation. The owners rent it through managers. Regardless of the above, the apartment with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen/lounge/dining room and terrace, is well equipped, with a 1.80-metre wedding bed and a spacious closet. The kitchen has everything necessary so that we do not miss anything. The hot water produces a small electrical thermal, so it is not suitable for extended showers and the terrace bar has a comfortable dining table and a comfortable dining area.

Vacation apartment no apartahotel

Stayed here for a week with friends , eight of us in a four bed apartment. The resort is clean & well maintained with a nice pool area ( plenty of beds ) and a reasonably priced snack / drinks bar . The apartment was spacious and clean with a huge balcony that got the sun all day. Good location just a ten min walk down the hill to the marina, and a further 5 mins into town. We enjoyed our stay , only a couple of little gripes  the beds weren't comfortable and we only had one pillow each . No kettle in the kitchen ( we bought one and left it there ) no fun boiling pans of water for eight people when you want a quick tea / coffee .

Holiday with friends

The facilities are good, it's a village with all the amenities needed for a good stay, from the pool to the outdoor spaces and the apartment space, however, the lack of hygiene is terrible, both inside the apartments as in the bathrooms, shower curtains, the living area where they are very ruined and extremely dirty up to the kitchen. Outside, there was always garbage on the floor on the stairs to the garage, in the common area and even in the pool lawn.

Not recommended!

The apartment is located inside a small village operated and managed by three different companies. On arrival the payment was made immediately and instructions were provided. We were told that they would do a mid-week cleaning as well as changing the sheets, which was not realized despite the countless times we tried to call the apartment owner. The reception was almost always closed. On arrival at the apartment a horrible smell was waiting for us. The apartment smelled of rotten fish that probably stayed in the garbage for a while and with the heat left. In addition to this smell we also had the right to smell the urine of our dog in the corner of the table. We immediately called the person responsible and as he did not attend we had to buy the washing room and attend to the washing machines.
