The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers: apart from the furnishings and dated fixtures, the lack of air conditioning has forced us to sleep with the window open and, although the hotel is located in a very quiet residential area, at night there is the passage of the urban cleanliness means and early in the morning the movement of the residents' cars that park under the windows of the hotel!!!

It's pretty disappointing.

Excellent choice in Santander area if you are focused on budget control. 10 minute drive from Santander historical center, 5 minutes drive from El Sardinero. Wifi only available on the public areas. Breakfast could be improved

Family holidays

We were there on July 7th, the first weekend in Santander that was good, almost all the accommodations were complete or high priced. We were recommended, we were in a nearby multi-sports venue conducting a course. Very friendly staff, good breakfast for your category and price. From the room you could see the sea (far away) but it's nice. If you can park behind, the garage area of the entrance can be difficult to handle depending on the square. Most importantly, ES a FAMILIAR hotel, only open part of the season, in the reception you can breathe the tranquility and familiarity of the second generation of María Jesús who runs the hotel, these characteristics and competition make you enjoy only two months a year.

Very good to be a two-star in Santader.

The location seems perfect to me, as it is in a very quiet area and very well connected to the center of Santander.The hotel facilities are great, large rooms, clean and very comfortable, in addition to quiet.Finally I would like to highlight above all the exquisite treatment of the staff, I can say that few times in my life I have felt so well treated in a hotel establishment.I congratulate the whole team for an excellent work.

 Inmejorable

The hotel that surprised me after arriving. The people who worked there were very kind and always willing to help you (and that's why I'm a bit heavy). Good general service. Very quiet neighborhood where even on the weekend, he rested quite well. The room was quite nice and I'd like to point out that having free rooms put us in a pretty good, looking location. To find some inconvenience, I'd like to talk about the parking lot that is just the bottom of the hotel where you can park a car at the risk of another hotel user blocking your exit. I decided to leave it outside the hotel and to be a quiet bar to my car. It didn't happen (it's a pretty flashy new car). Breakfast for 4 people is quite nice, and the truth is, it's perfect.

 Economy hotel and furnished.

Ideal location to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. Connections to the centre of Santander either by taxi or bus. Small hotel but with very spacious rooms and highlighting the cleanliness and above all the personal, family and cozy treatment. Undoubtedly a good place to spend a few pleasant days.

It was a good escape.

Located in the beautiful outskirts of Santander, facing the ocean, but well served by the pulman service (stop in front of the hotel) in 10 minutes you get to the center.

Small but really cute hotel

Located in the village of Cueto, a few minutes from the centre of Santander, it was recently renovated, the rooms are spacious, the site is quiet and nearby there are a couple of good restaurants for dinner.

Nice quiet hotel and very well renovated.

Located right in front of the bus stop number 108 of Ines Diego Noval street! Position favorable to reach any destination, such as the different and famous bathing areas. Even simply on foot you can reach the beach of Matalenas, near the golf course. Hotel in classic style, equipped with all modernity, clean.

Advised!

We stayed at the Hotel Matalenas for 3 nights and it's highly recommended! The whole hotel and the rooms are just so clean and the owner/employees are extremely friendly! The hotel itself is just outside the city centre, but a bus stop is right outside the door (about 15 minutes drive to the city) and you're only 10 minutes' walk from the most beautiful Santander Bay and the Cabo Mayor lighthouse!
