Clean, practical, friendly staff. Walking distance to airport. Good parking if needed. Good coffee, we did not eat breakfast but saw the breakfast buffet and it looked very good. Reception staff very helpful. Beds a bit narrow but immaculate Bedlinen. Great soundproofed windows.

Perfect for an overnight stay at the airport

The receiption and breakfast area is appropriate

Everything is efficent

What I didn't like:
- Room was with two single beds - although we came as a couple (it was in the description, that there are rooms with single bed, but I didn't expect)
- No Water boiler in the appartment
- The bread and rolls at  the breakfast buffet

All what you need but not more - very friendly staff

Close to the airport. Room reasonably clean but very basic. Apparently they only had a smoking room left and I accepted it - but it was much worse than I anticipated. It really stank of stale smoke. Noisy as right under the flight path, I was at the front, so got traffic noise too. Price you pay for being close to the airport. Friday night for an early flight Saturday. 10minutes walk toT1, 15 to T2. Had to pay EUR 99, without breakfast, not very good value. Maybe would have been less unhappy if I had paid half that. Had an excellent meal at The Vegan Eagle, 5 minutes walk away, which cheered me up a bit. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.  Receptionist was cheerful and spoke good English.

Not very nice

If you are looking for an inexpensive overnight close to Hamburg airport look no further. MeinHotel gives you a good deal, no fuzz and efficient service and a good night sleep. You will be right under the flight path but I prefer the roar of plane engines to the constant drone of cars, so try to get a room that is facing to the back away from the road. The planes stop around 11:00pm so it is actually not too bad anyhow. Looking out the window over a meadow and trees the first thing I spotted was a deer peacefully grazing! The room was utilitarian but clean and the bed narrow but comfy. I walked to and from the hotel to the airport which was about 10 minutes. Checkin was very pleasant and also efficient and with a prepaid room I only needed to drop the keycard in a box and that was checkout. Admirable!

Admirable: no fuzz & efficient = a good deal

Overall a good budget hotel absolutely next door to the Hamburg Airport. Rooms are clean and decent. Rooms do have all amenities and there is also option for breakfast.
Few things worth mentioning is the hotel room doesn't have a coffee machine and the rooms are in a different building altogether than where the breakfast place and reception is. Also the internet wifi was really not working. The bathroom didn't have a hair dryer too. Also there is no intercom facility too. The good part is the hotel staffs are excellent and they really try to help wherever possible.

Just a basic hotel that's all

My plane arrived way too late in Hamburg and so I needed to find a place to crash for the night. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport and offered me a good option for the night's stay. 

The room is basic, but clean and exactly what you need. 

Only downside, I called to say I might be late - which was the only way I found out that I had to check in at the hotel next door at that time of night. If I hadn't called I would have been very annoyed to stand in front of closed doors. Everything worked well, but i can see how that could be vexing.

A good place for an emergency airport stay

Location for getting into the centre is great and for the airport and as it is next door to 2 other hotels where we had other friends staying was great, easy access to rooms and a short walk from supermarket, went to the mini wunderland which was very cool and the spice museum also had lunch at the Speicherstadt Kaffee, lunch a good price and you could also buy coffee grounded or beans, not cheap but had some great coffees

Rooms are not allergy free, weeks old spider webs with dried out insects in them, breakfast not value for money at 8 euros, went to a bakery down the road which was better suited
