Located five minutes' walk from Kossuth Square this boarding house could have been a good price-for-service step. We were taking a road trip through Eastern Europe. We were driving an average of 6 to 7 hours regardless of the weather. It was raining, foggy and temperatures going down that day. Needless to say, the importance of a warm shower on arrival. Unfortunately we never got it. When we reported it to the reception we were told to wait a few minutes, then 10 minutes at the third reception it was *there was a sorry problem. The morning without hot water... In the face of my anger and my price of the young woman at the reception refused to pay for the private room. We could have learned that the parking room was free.

It could have been good.

Minerva is a cosy place. The rooms are clean, spacious and light colored. The temperature was set just right.
The breakfast is diverse and good :we stayed two days and there were slight variations of the hot breakfast options. They also serve cold cuts and cheese as cold options and chocolate spreading or jams for those in search of a sweeter breakfast.

Nice hotel

We spent one night here on our Hungarian journey. We could park the car in the courtyard for free. Since my wife speaks Hungarian, communication was no problem. We got our room key and checked the WLAN. The password indicated didn't go first, but when you chose the conference WLAN, it went right. When the head of the house was there, communication was also perfect in English and even German. Breakfast was very basic and the buns were baked. So we were the last to come to breakfast. The rooms were showered, plentiful and clean. Then in the courtyard there was absolutely quiet. Our own apartment.

This B&B offered a good modern room with very good beds.
The shower in the bathroom would need som maintenance, but worked.
That staff is friendly, but not very good in english. It was difficult to get good help at the reception, even if they wanted. 
Breakfast is average. White bread, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs, (cold) sausages and jam. Youghurt most days and cerials.
Location is ok. A few minutes walk from the city centre. And taxi is cheap (and the reception calls for the taxi).
