As soon as we arrived at the Reception we got a hit... it didn't look like a hotel but a construction site, workers, tiles, drums, etc etc etc... but once we passed the Reception we entered an old theatre.. still in operation for the Musical... renovated as a Hotel.

Never stop at the looks...

Excellent quality price ratio, good and abundant breakfast, rooms and bathrooms (shared but clean) spacious. Great for a vacation with friends, but it can also go well for couples.

Large location

Advantages: cleanliness, central location for old town visits. Disadvantages: the service provided does not correspond to the type of room ordered: result, despite the denials of the receptionist, 10 euros per night difference...for our apple! another disadvantage: no payment by bank card possible. Finally, noisy street TRES is THE street that goes from Vinceslas Square to the old town, borrowed by hordes of tourists often very noisy until 4 or 5 in the morning. Otherwise, Prague is beautiful!

There are some advantages and some disadvantages!

We were very disappointed in our stay in this hotel and yet we had read the reviews carefully; very cold welcome in a hallway between the kitchen doors of the restaurant next door, smelling of tobacco in the rooms, in the bedding; breakfast is certainly delicious at last when the waitress wants to serve us well because we waited a long time before she served us a coffee and yet she had seen us! besides, we have to go outside to have lunch in a restaurant. We were lucky to find out that this hotel was also a nightclub just in a room underneath the rooms! hello white nights!! so a tip: look elsewhere!

Clean, friendly reception, comfortable room, very well located to discover this beautiful city on foot, generous breakfast, reasonable prices Negative shower point and toilet on level but they are clean!!!

Ideal for walking to Prague!!!!

We had a very clean hotel. We had a room with twin beds. The beds are very comfortable. The only drawback is the bathroom and the common toilet but everything is very clean and it is a real bathroom and no common showers like a hostel. However, the entrance to the hotel is not obvious to find, you have to look for the show Cats in Prague (which you can REALLY miss).

Perfect location, nice hotel, nice place for friends

We booked this hotel with Venus and we didn't regret it! The location is so central that there was never any need to take the means (except, of course, to go to the airport!). We had a double with bathroom (which is wonderful, huge and with decorated ceiling!) and a triple without bathroom (even this spacious and comfortable). Breakfast is in the restaurant under the hotel, unfortunately it is only from 8.30 but it is plentiful and varied anyway. The only new thing about this hotel is the lack of an elevator so getting to the third floor is a bit laborious! The staff is kind and speaks perfectly English. The rooms overlook the pedestrian island so there is a bit of confusion.

Optimal position

Excellent value for money. Advising on small budgets, especially for young people who want to go out at night, go shopping or visit the city on foot.
