We booked the hotel through booking.com and still didn't get a room. We were notified by e-mail two hours before arrival, but unfortunately I don't check my e-mails every five minutes on vacation.

Despite the booking, we didn't get a room.

Chi, the receptionist at this hotel, sold us a tour, using a sheet of Sasa Holiday and signed on a receipt from this company, which is located at the Ngan Tuan Hotel, so I was able to find out. The complaint goes not so much against the hotel (in which we do not stay) as against the travel agency. So what we learned during our time there, the hotels and many of the small agencies sell packages from major vendors (in our case, Delta, with brown guides and Peace Happened & Spata guides in the third place).

Now Holiday Travel

I gave up the key so that they cleaned my room and stole my backpack for 100 euros, and I'm a fool and don't report it.If I'd read the opinions of people here before.....I don't think you'd be staying here!!!!!!!

Don't ever stay at this hotel! On my second day in the hotel, $700 was stolen from my room. It was  hidden in a small pouch in the corner of a desk drawer. Should I have put it in the front desk locker? Sure, but the lack of help and "Well, you deserved it" attitude by the entire staff was infuriating. The housekeeper conveniently speaks no English. The manager, a fat guy with a Kim Jong Un haircut, told me that the hotel bears no responsibility unless the money is checked into the front desk locker. We went and filed a police report (worthless) the next morning. I guess with all the hell I raised, this probably has little chance of happening again, but be forewarned.

I had $700 stolen from my room

This hotel (if you can call it that) stayed for two nights, it was a transitional point between Hong Kong and NyChang. It is a narrow structure between buildings 6 stories high, with a reception 3x3 meters, vertical, almost like a fire room, staircase on the floors with apartments, which are only on the 2nd floor. The apartments themselves: the room is no longer a reception point, which stood very old and loose beds (but carefully glazed), still looks very dull =) There is air conditioning, but not in all rooms, there is a ventilator everywhere, there is no safe in the room, it stands on this luxurious ventilation point.

Small and angry.

During a trip through southeast Asia we decided to book ngan tuan hotel coming in from phnom penh. The location was great right in the backpacker area, the staff were helpful, you have free computers with Internet in the entrance which is a great bonus in my opinion. The rooms were clean, the shower was excellent, wifi worked well. Only downsides were that the rooms were definitely noisy at night, being right above a bar, and the beds weren't very comfortable. The best thing at the hotel was the tourist office in the entrance i believe her name was song, great service and great prices we booked everything with her, absolutely recommended. 

Great location, clean rooms, book tours with the lady in the entrance! Noisy.. 

I only stayed one night here but the hotel was great! Room size was a bit small, but the air con worked very well as did the wifi! Really comfy bed with cleans sheets and the first powerful shower we've come across in SE Asia! The travel agent (who runs a business inside the lobby) was really helpful and friendly and sold us cheaper sleeper bus travel. They even let us borrow their umbrella to wonder round town in the rain! Definitely recommened for backpackers!

Great Budget hotel for backpackers!

For our needs as backpackers, this choice was just right! The rooms have gotten a little old, but we had everything we needed nearby. The air conditioning, the beds, the staff and the location were very good. At the lady at the tour switch (Mrs. Song) we booked good tours (Cu Chi, Mekong Delta). So this hostel is recommended to backpackers.

The total package for backpackers is correct

Clean, air con, hot water shower, TV, free lobby computers for guests, and they'll keep your excess luggage if you prepay to stay with them on your return from in country travels. Lobby travel agency, www.sasa-holiday.com, travel agent, Xoan "Song" is very gracious, knowledgeable, and has excellent English. I think we paid about $16 for a night, for 2 people. Location is right around the corner from Buy Vien, the main backpacker and tourist area. To avoid street noise, ask for room on rear side. No lift, only stairs...typical of budget hotels.
