The rooms are nice, the common bathrooms are clean and the manager is generally nice. Despite the distance from the center he offered us two of his bikes for free, asking for a deposit of 25 euros per bicycle. The only thing is that the bikes were really very old, so I broke a brake just using it. Once you reset the owner insisted that he was withholding 15 euros from the brake deposit.

Good experience, problems with the owner.

We were young & broke college students and while Trapani was and is not on my list of places to go, we enjoyed staying here!  We borrowed bikes and ate our way around town, including pizza & ice cream and visited the nearby salt mines.

Nice Stay in Trapani!

Enchanting rooms with nineteenth-century Mayolique furnishings and decorated ceramic floors of antique period. One of the rooms, the one in which we stayed with private bathroom, overlooks a wonderful terrace and overlooks the inner Mediterranean garden lined with orange trees of fruit and flowers. True bb, the owner lives in the same building.

It's lovely.

My experience is unfortunately very bitter, not so much for the structure or services in itself (not necessarily comfortable, but all the more common to others) as for the unpleasant human approach of the owner. We arrived in August, in the hottest week, and we found the absence of air conditioning, surrogated by a rather useless fan; one might settle for opening the windows, but here falls the toilet because the road on which the rooms overlook is very minimal at all hours of the day and night, making it unwelcome to sleep with the windows open.

Forget about it

We stayed two nights in this b&b. We chose the room with the private bathroom. The room, in 900 style for the record, I expected it to be larger (for as I saw it in the photos) and at night I found mosquitoes. The bathroom was small but clean. Also, there was one thing I had to ask (for me essentiale i.e. the phon). In our room there was a beautiful terrace where breakfast was held with local vegetarian and vegan products. As for the owner, Mr. Ignazio, he was a very kind, available, and smiling person.

Weekend in Trapani and Erice

We've stayed here for about a week with my boyfriend in August 2017. The host is really welcoming and helpful, you can ask for information or ask for booking tickets any time. The breakfast takes place on a terrace with BEAUTIFUL view, you can taste local products, everything healthy and freshly prepared. All guests are seated at one big table, so you can talk to other people and exchange useful tips. You can rent a bike for free, the deposit is 50 euro - it's a great option to go to the city centre at night when no buses are available. There is a local pizzeria and a bar in the neighborhood open until late. The rooms are big and tastefully decorated with original tiles on the floor. The only flaw was high temperature in the rooms - but I think it's normal as there was 38'C outside. I higly, highly recommend Novecento B&B. It's a great option if you're looking for an accomodation with a local flair.

The rooms are very nice, clean, with very nice old furniture, the owner was very kind and explained everything to us, it is worth staying a few days in the city to see the islands and the saline.

Have a good time!

Extensive check-in with a city map in tribute, frequent and thorough cleaning, varied and abundant breakfast, free bicycle rental, over-speed internet connection. No problem if you travel by car, because there is the possibility of parking on the same road. In any case, at check-in, the manager asks if you have arrived by car and, if the answer is positive, provides detailed information about the possibility of parking in the area. However, the same information is repeated in the notices displayed in the B&B. We, as we had a rental car, parked in the B&B for a few euros more. The price/quality ratio at the Nineteenth is among the best in the city.

Don't think about it!

Breakfast is abundant and with local products. Spacious, clean rooms with antique and majolica furniture. It is not in the harbour area, but the B&B provides free bicycles and in 15 minutes you can get to both the city centre and the sea. Although to ride Trapani the bike is very good, we preferred to use the car to move around the island and we had no problem parking in the B&B area. Free Wi-Fi, PC, refrigerator available. Everything very quiet and pleasant.

What do I say?

Trapani is a magical city and we would recommend it as a destination for every trip to Sicily. Since we were a large group (four and with a moderate budget) we focused on an apartment. For the price and attracted by the photos we chose the B&B Novecento. We were really good because the apartment is a spacious bi-local, with two bedrooms, kitchen with table and all the tools, microwave etc. and bathroom and even free Wi-Fi! Since the apartment is close to the center but not inside, it is very easy to find free parking on the street, which is still safe because it is the property of the main road.
