Not exactly a great stay. Rooms were hot with no way of letting air in unless you opened door. Bedsheets smelled like damp sheets that never got hung or B.O
Carpet could use a clean. Bathroom was extramly stinky and dirty looked like it had never been cleaned.  Manager was noce and friendly but you could tell he couldbt handle doimg everything himself i could tell he was the only worker there. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. I felt uncomfortable and a little freaked out and itchy. But i guess everyone is different. If you are looking for cheap accommodation or a place to just sleep when dead tired
 This is the place. In other wprds ot is a roof over your head and bed to sleep amd nothing more

I honestly do not know where to begin. 
This is the worst hostel I've ever stayed in and I've been tracking Australia for just shy of 2 years. 

The bedrooms are disgusting. There's mice in the kitchen. Rude staff. The manager is to busy smoking outside half the time to care what's going on at the hostel. I've never stayed in a dirtier place. Avoid avoid avoid!!

The worst hostel I've ever stayed in

Been travelling for 4 months throughout all of southeast Asia and this is by far the worst place I've been to. Filthy lobby that smells weed and feet, and the rooms were just as dirty. We stayed there for several nights and they didn't ever clean the bathroom. They said it was free Wi-Fi but it wasn't. DON'T GO HERE!!! 

Worst stay I've ever had.

The room was absolutely disgusting, it smelt horrible, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the drawers would not open, one was broken. The door looked very damaged too. The bathroom had a very unclean toilet, a sink with no soap or nothing to try your hands with and an extremely unclean shower. There was also phone numbers graffiti'd on the drawers. This accommodation was not enjoyable to stay in at all. Avoid at all costs 

Vile - don't ever stay here 

It is a large and equipped hostel but I feel that it is more group-oriented since for a lonely traveler it does not have many activities and being so large it is probably more difficult to meet people, obviously for some traveler seeking tranquility and solitude this is perfect.

A cheap hostel for group walks.

We spent one night in this place, well located and with reasonable price for the season. it's  a little bit old dated but everything is here and the men we saw gave us some prolific clues... so if you don't find somewhere to sleep in St kilda, Oslo hostel (with too many rooms) could be an option.

Good place for a night

We're going to say that if you're not a precious person (I hear the rooms are wary and have never been rebuilt since I think) and you don't mind sleeping with 4 blankets (because even with the heating of the hotel's hot cock - but it was May!) and you don't mind the welcome (yes I personally don't hang on to the frenchy who tries to roll you as soon as he can! And his hypocritical sub-Bahama the... in short!) I advise you just for the hypocrisy that the inhabitants of the hotel create!!!!! Frankly I would have spent a very good day with them (without the hotel's aesthetics) but thanks to them it's always made you laugh at the hotel!

It's a nice hotel, but it's a nice atmosphere.

I'm short of words to describe the awful stay (of one night at a time) that my friend and I spent! We arrived at 10 a.m., and it was written at the entrance that the reception opened at 10 a.m., so we were obviously very happy! It was only at 11:15 that the receptionist (French, with an awful accent haha) arrived, without apologizing of course, with the pretext that he had slept badly and therefore had a hard time waking up (I'll say that this gentleman had just slept in the hostel). We quickly packed our bags and we went back to take the room. All the dresses and blankets were still in the room and the door didn't feel that she had suffered the problem because she hadn't come to the hostel (I've never heard of a friend who had come to the hostel, and we've heard that the dresses were coming from the hostel, and we've been very, very rude and we've made a lot of remarks about the last one, and we've just left the dresses and blankets

How about November 2014: Horrible!

Just because I didn't have time to call the hygiene service.I've never been to prison but I think the treatment is better.The drop that overflowed the vase and when I woke up in the morning and I found a blood stain strewn for months on the sheets I think they've never been washed.This can't be called a hostel, but a nice, good pigsty.

A star because you can't go below zero.

It's an amazing thing. Ideal only as the last beach before spending the night on the street. Me and a friend took the double. It's hallucinatingly furnished with mattresses and grids that are very old and uncomfortable.
