Worst meal ever! Ordered Thai beef salad which consistered of 2 very thinly slices of cucumber, 3 pieces of horrible and inedible tomato and balance just lettuce.  Beef was awful, over cooked and who knows what part of cow it came from. Chain saw should have been offered as cutting utensil. Girls behind bar and food bar very polite though

Don't Eat Here!

Comfortable and clean rooms.  Bathroom could do with upgrade but shower was great and it was clean.  Bistro meal was excellent, the steak was melt in your mouth.    Only issue was TV only worked on one channel and the air con was that loud it was like a semi truck in the room.  Could only run briefly as couldn't hear TV over it.   But in saying that would certainly stay here again.

Comfortable and Awesome meals 

We visited overnight in a heatwave and could not enjoy all of the complex facilities.
Pool was a very nice reprieve from the heat.

Dinner in the bistro was very nice and the outdoor area looked like a fantastic place to relax in cooler weather

Overnight stopover 

Home away from home. Very good location. Walking distance to most amenities. Just across the road from the shopping centre which is very handy because we didn’t have any car. Staff at the reception are very helpful. Great service. Highly recommended. 

Very comfortable place.

Not good. Traveling through Shepparton Victoria and apparently there was a big soccer tournament on in town. So we paid $160.00, was $170.00 but hay he knocked off $10.00. 
It was a family room that’s all they had left after a cancellation.
All others were taken so we took it after traveling from Adelaide that day. We had to eat so we went up town. Came back and put our stuff in the room & there’s a month a big one in the window Then there was a big fly buzzing around. The smoke alarm kept going peep,peep. And being a family room there was only 1 towel. Pity that poor family if they had of come. No soap. And there’s a bird in the bricks over the shower going ballistic.

No wasn’t worth $170.00 at all. I don’t mind paying that, but not for this place. If ever your like us and traveling through and there’s nothing left only Overlander Hotel Motel either go back to the town before or continue on to the next place. Because I would not recommend this place.

We have had lunch there on several occasions, and have also conducted at least three functions for a group that I belong to. Excellent facilities at a very reasonable price, friendly service and generally an excellent outcome.

Lunch with friends, good value

Good food catered for all palates. Children up to 12 yrs were able to access the play area. Plenty of parking. Lots of space in dining rooms. Only criticism is that it can be noisy. Had the opportunity to place a bet in the TAB

From the time we arrived to the time we left - disgusting! Arrived to check in and staff cars parked at reception, therefore had to use car park. Get to room a/c doesn’t work and room smells. Thought we’d go to bistro for dinner as close and didn’t have to drive anywhere. Big mistake. Walked in to a fowl smelling area that was the bar only to continue down to bistro where the odour got worse and so did the temp. No a/c working in here either. Sat down at the table for less than 5 min and could no longer stand the smell or the heat so got up and left. Had dinner at another establishment in Shepparton and 100% better. Decided to go back to motel and hopefully room would be cooler. Not! After contemplating whether to leave or stay we decided to go and cool down in pool! What a joke that was! Pool had tree branches, used coffee cup lids and you could not see the bottom in some spots due to dirt! Went back to room and had a cold shower then went to bed and could not wait for morning to come! Out of bed and gone by 7am never to set foot back at the Overlander again!!!! We had stayed here previously on 2 seperate occasions in the past, 2nd visit wasn’t as bad but this last one totally disgusting!  Never ever again! 

Disgusting 

We stayed with a large group and couldn't have been happier. Staff went out of their way to do anything to assist.  Cheery and friendly every detail was looked after.It is refreshing to know that someone can finally get it right. They can provide a spectacular breakfast for the group, have quick table service, great set dinners,every 2nd one, for the group, white fluffy towels to die for and a very clean room.  We had a room to gather and chat in as well.  Thanks Jason and your staff.  You have restored faith in the great Aussie way "She'll be right mate!". and actually gave SERVICE.

At Last Someone Has Got It Right!

Easy access off the highway. Booking staff friendly and helpful. Room was well equipped and beds comfortable. Sumptious towels (bath sheets). Pool. Restaurant - Large choice for breakfast and dinner menue varied and servings plentiful and served hot. Staff friendly.
