Saalbach-Hinterglemm

Good basic hotel on the edge of Saalbach. We had a good comfortable week there. Really lovely staff both on reception, housekeeping and dining room all smiley and friendly and very helpful. We had a nice big room, classified as a superior twin. (Twin beds pushed together to make a double.) Comfortable beds but rather uncomfortable pillows. Shower no bath. Fridge. Kettle. Balcony with chairs and table. Breakfast and Dinner are buffet, just turn up in the time range and help yourself. Hotel has a lift. Very warm. Great ski area, large and quite steep. 

The following are points intended to be useful not critical as we would stay here again. Much cheaper than some other hotels in Saalbach. We booked with CrystalSki. Very steep driveway and as others have said could be tricky if icy. 8-10 minutes walk to Schattberg Express lift in town. Hotel offered an 8.30am mini bus to the lift. Could ski back closer probably but there was not enough snow that low down during our week. Shower is just a mixer tap not thermostatically controlled and runs hot and cold throughout showering. Pressure quite weak. One towel rail. Few hooks. Wi-Fi poor and intermittent, average speed 5 Mbps just about adequate for texting and slowly sending emails. Food was OK, think school dinners, plentiful but quality varied.  Very meaty. Very weird chips. Few vegetables. Salads were available every day but all pre-dressed in rather sour salad dressings. Breakfast coffee weak. 
Balcony is like a veranda running all round the hotel with no room barriers. Curtains barely covered the windows but did with careful arranging. Sitting on the balcony or in the room with door / window open often meant a room full of passive smoking from the other guests. 
Supermarket in Saalbach shuts at 6 on Saturday and is closed all day Sunday but there is one half a mile away in the direction of Hinterglemm is open Sunday 3-6pm.

Good hotel on the edge of Saalbach 

A very clean and comfortable hotel. All of the staff we extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. 
The food was plentiful and well cooked. 
The views were fantastic, especially first thing in the morning. 
The was a short walk into town. 
The short steep hill up to the hotel kept us extra fit. 

A room with a view. 

My husband and I and our daughter stayed at the Panorama Landhaus for our annual ski holiday. The staff is super friendly, and they all did their very best to make us feel welcome. The rooms are spacious and clean, and we had a balcony with a nice view. Delicious breakfast and buffet dinner with a large variety of food to choose from. The hotel is well located just a short walk from the lifts in Saalbach. A fantastic bonus is the shuttle bus which will take you to the Schattberg lift each morning and back again in the afternoon. The hotel also has a nice and warm storage room for skis and boots. We had a fantastic holiday and we would be more than happy to stay at Panorama Landhaus again.

Great hotel in Saalbach

This was the third time we stayed at this hotel. And like the first two times, we really enjoyed our stay! The staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. The food (breakfast and dinner buffet) is very nice and has vegetarian options as well (a scarcity in Austria). There's also a free shuttle service to and from the nearby skilift. But the bus stop is very close as well, if you prefer to start your day in Hinterglemm. And if you come back after a day on the slopes, you can put your equipment in a locked area to dry. I also feel like they charge a fair fee for their rooms and the food/drinks, especially compared to some of the other places in Saalbach. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel for your winter  holiday 

Really enjoyed my stay at Panorama Landhaus! Staff were super friendly. Hotel is really close to the Schattberg lift. Maybe about 5 minutes in minibus every morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Buffet evening meal was always delicious and service from staff was excellent. Would definitely stay again. 

Great hotel in Saalbach!

What a wonderful little gem of a hotel .My brother and i stayed 8 to the 15th jan 2022 for our annual ski trip. 
We were met with a beautiful smile from the lovely Irene who's warm charm made us feel welcome every day, as did the rest of her amazing staff .

The hotel is a 5 min walk out of town which is ideal for a bit of quiet time but not too far if you want to go out out . On the plus side the hotel lay on a mini bus service to take you and pick you up from the ski lifts and Steve was great he even stopped one day when he saw us walking and picked us up.

The food in the hotel was really good too maybe not the huge choice you get in the big hotels but what they had was great and enough for the hungry skier . Which brings me to my next positive. On our arrival i told Irene that i eat fish but not meat ( ive been told off in the past for not saying so and not eating meat courses). I have to say there was always veggie or fish options and their wonderful chef made me some superb individual meals just for me. 

The waiter Costas was really nice as was the barman, the room was big for two people with a nice balcony ( views from below) always clean with fresh towels every day and the shower was larger than you normally get in hotels with more stars.

There was a sauna but we didn't try it so cant really comment. The boot room was warm and was good.

If you're lucky enough to book this hotel,  im telling you now you're in for a good holiday. When we next go back to Saalbach we will stay there again ,such a friendly hotel why wouldn't we???

Ski trip 2022

The staff was very polite and friendly. They helped us a lot for everything we needed. 
The hotel is in a very good location, with a nice view. It is clean and ideal for all kind of guests.

It is the ideal hotel for anyone who wants to visit Austria.

Amazing view

Very nice personel! So friendly host ho really made her best to make us welcome and taken caered of. Nice room and balconys with amasing views. Big and tasty brekfast. Good dinners and Nice varity ewery ewening. Excellent schuttle bus service to and from the lifts daily. Ower all a very Nice week and very good value for the Money. Thanks for making our vacation perfect and thank you for also velcoming our son and his friends for some of our dinners.

Great place

Hotel is near the center. Free transfer to and from ski lifts with minibus. The girl on the reception was excellent and very friendly. Dinner and breakfast is very good. The best price of accommodation in whole area.

Friendly staff and good price

We searched for nice hotel near to citycenter and skilifts. This hotel is perfect. They also have minibus, so that we didn’t need a car at all. Food is good. Big terace comes with a room :) Very clean and excellent service.
