This is definitely not a 5-star hotel.. people do not speak english, all signs are also in Chinese so no idea where the swimming-pool nor gym was. Difficult to find as name of the hotel is not shown anywhere on the building. Beds are the hardest I have ever slept in, very huge dark apartments with old bathrooms. Kitchen is old and somewhat dirty and indeed misses many things like e.g pans to even be able to use it. Hotel also does not over any room-service or breakfast, so you have to take all your meals outdoors. Also there are no standard appliances like an iron to iron your shirts. Not a comfortable place to stay for a business trip.

Not suitable for short-term stays

I rented a 3 rooms apartment  180sqm for my outstation family to stayed on as they could conveniently visit me at Ruijin Hospital which I was admitted at.  except for master bedroom which provided a queen size bed, the rest of 2 rooms are with single beds.  What a waste for such a big unit.  Furthermore , it has a kitchen with stove, oven, fridge but without kitchen utencils and plate .  what a joke.  Not good for value.

Huge apartment.  Closed to Ruijin Hospital.

We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms. We had chosen the hotel because of its proximity to the Visa building (most countries have an office in this building) which is located right around the corner of the hotel. Benefits: beautifully furnished rooms, wooden floors, two bathrooms, quite large kitchen, washing machine and hair dryer in the bathroom Good internet connection to Tianzi walking distance  a convenient shopping area with art shops, galleries, cafes, etc. In walking distance there was a food court where there were restaurants with western food (outback steakhouses, etc.) But the room was not repurposed, but quickly repurposed every day, but I never got a proper meal in the neighborhood of a hotel in China, and I never got to buy a single one, although most of the hotels in the city, which is located here, and I have never had to go to the bathroom, and I have never had to go to the bathroom, but I have to go to the bathroom, and I have to buy a few things in the hotel, which is a convenience store, which is located here, and most of

in room safe did not work however they quickly fixed the problem
Cons
- Have stayed in many hotels in China...this had one of the hardest beds I have slept on.
- Most hotels give you complimentary water...not so here, you have to go to a store on the street any buy it
- only one towel in each bathroom, only one bathroom had soap, etc
- hotel features a full kitchen but no dishes, cutlery, not even a bottle opener (they did have glasses in the hutch in the living room)
- While it did have a washing machine, no complimentary detergent to wash the clothes
- supposed to get a daily paper--did not receive one
- front desk staff not very fluent in English (again it is next door to the Visa centre, lots of international clientele)

The hotel was chosen because of its proximity to the visa centre (most countries have offices in one large building), which was two steps away from the hotel. Plus: + Beautifully equipped rooms, parquet floors, 2 bathrooms, a rather large kitchen + Washing machine and dryer in the bathroom + Very clean + Good internet + Within a few minutes walking distance of Tianxifan - a fashionable shopping district with prisoner shops, galleries, cafes, etc. + Within a few minutes walking distance of the area with restaurants selling western products (Steinhouses, etc.) - there is no bathroom in the bathroom - there is no need to work in the bathroom - however - there is no need to work in the bathroom - there is no need to work in the bathroom - but in China - there is no need to open up the bathroom. Although there are not a lot of extra shops in the hotel, there is no room in the hotel.
