I returned from my vacation in Tarifa at the end of June. I stayed in this small guesthouse recommended by a friend and immediately felt like I was in the family. Located in the heart of the historic center, easily accessible even on foot from the bus station. Traveling alone they assigned me a room on the ground floor with a common bathroom. I thought it might be a nuisance but instead it was always clean and orderly. I felt assisted and advised in every request: thanks to Roberto for the advice to rent the scooter instead of using the means. Tarifa and the nearby beaches are well connected but with the scooter you have the advantage of being independent! Thanks to Alessandro who with his local advice on restaurants and hired me to know the Wikandari and beautiful restaurants. Thanks to the local coastline and its beautiful scenery, I have a few minutes to explore and discover the beautiful beaches in my home town.

Family hospitality

I must admit that booking a room in the old city centre I couldn't go wrong with the location, it's perfect, near the buzz of the city but still quiet and peaceful. The hotel is charming and clean. The receptionist, Carlos, is fantastic, really helpful and friendly. He had great tips and had saved me precious time thanks to his assistance! Thanks! :)

Excellent customer service and top location

The rooms are great with a bathroom, austere but very clean. The host speaks fluently three languages always willing to help. Extraordinary location a large number of bars around. There is no parking but the municipal building is nearby.

The best 

I really enjoyed staying at this charming Family-run lodging in the historical centre of Tarifa. We got there in December and booked the apartment Atico on the top Floor which cost around € 110.00 for two nights. The steep stairs are quite narrow and steep and the apartment is located on the 3rd Floor, it's got Windows to two sides and a view over the Roofs of the historical centre of Tarifa. On one side you'll have a view into the Cathedral where the pigeons gather in the morning to watch the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean. On the other side there is a small private rooftop terrace - probably a great place during warmer times of the year. The bathroom is quite small but otherwise the lodging comes with everything you Need for a comfy stay - a fridge, tea- and coffee facilities and a large, comfortable bed.
You can get your breakfast in one of the many cafés around, or you buy some jamon, olives, bread, cheese and wine in one of the stores that always makes for a great dinner in Spain. There is a public and free parking site around 3 minutes walk from Pension Correo. It's a 5 minutes walk to the Harbour from which the ferry leaves to Morocco, it's also just a 10 minutes walk to the immense beaches on the atlantic side of the town. Tarifa is a great place to relax under endless skies where you can relax watching the horizon or learn to do kite-surfing.
I also liked the service at Pension Correo because the owner really took her time for us which I appreciate especially as my Spanish needs practise with patient natives:) I'll probably come back here.

beautiful apartment with a view

A charming, very clean, centrally located property, we were delighted, advisable, we stayed from December 6 to 10th, has seven bedrooms some with shared bathrooms, heating,

The genius,

The rooms are very clean, you can change the sheets and towels during the weekend, or to take an infusion in the room, the staff very attentive... it's a charming place! It's nice to know that there are a few small stairs to climb the floors, you can hear the church bells and our room being separated from each other by a locked door and covered if you listen a little to the conversations but it's worth it.

A charming site.

Local without air conditioning, no soundproofing, the noise of the street gets into the room, I had to sleep with napkins, lots of mosquitoes, the owner gave us a terrible treatment, the staff organization was very bad, I had to shower with cold water because the boiler didn't work, if you want to spend a consistent vacation don't let yourself be guided by the price of this board as it is not recommended.

Negative and not advisable.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this beautiful building for three nights in the days of August and we were really satisfied. The first point in favour is the very central location: close to the cathedral and very few steps (truly!) from the area of restaurants and premises. The evening fare is full of life and being able to enjoy a hotel so close to the places of greatest interest is a convenience not to be underestimated. Other elements in favour of this small hotel are cleanliness, excellent and the rooms, spacious and bright. Finally, unparalleled service and courtesy of the staff: from the first day we received very useful information and advice that would allow us to take full advantage of all that it offers.

I can't believe this!

I found myself very well, very clean rooms we re-made them every day. No elevator but the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms too and then c and a terrace where we can have a pleasant break. The owners were polite and advised us to book beaches, restaurants and x book whale watching, horseback riding. The only thing a little unpleasant is that the owner's husband pressed us to get paid every day, and not xke we didn't want to pay as soon as we arrived but the x ATM didn't work and he wanted them in cash right away. Unfortunately they had problems with the internet, in fact the wifi worked in monkeys. But if I had to go back to the fare, I would definitely go back to the center and everything was very close to you, bar, restaurant, beach.

To be returned - very clean

He went with two friends and although the room he touched us was small we had a rooftop with a table, chairs and a sofa in the same door that gave us a lot of life.
