Pension Easo is in a lovely, convenient, quiet area of San Sebastián back away from the tourist restaurants and gives a more local feel.  We had a small room with bathroom and an internal window that opened to a covered laundry shaft.  This was the only room available at the time of booking.  Lots of amenities in the hallway and in all a good place to stay.  The air conditioner did its own thing changing from air conditioner to fan only in the middle of the night, and then around 6am back to air cond again.  Too hard to explain to complain about it, but in an airless room quite uncomfortable.  I would not get the internal window room again.  Can’t tell if it’s day or night, can’t tell what the weather is.  Certainly stay at this hotel but pay extra and get an outside facing window.  The reception staff are very  helpful and make for a pleasant stay.

Great Location in San Sebastian

We have stayed a week in this boarding house and I can say we have been very happy. The rooms are small but have everything you need for when you arrive from a day of tourism in the area. And most importantly, the great cleanliness. They have Covid measures, no crosses with those entering as they sell elsewhere. Quiet. A 5 minute walk from the Concha and with areas for breakfast, dining and dinner. There are hotels with less. The only downside is that the TV has a volume cap (totally understandable for no bother) but should give more room since some chains barely listened to each other.

We stayed 3 nights at the donations and the room and boarding house were generally very clean. The staff were very friendly and detailed with us. The location is also very good as it is very close to La Concha. Good quality-price. Thank you.

It is excellent.

The situation is fine, but the service it has is too expensive, as it is as big as the rooms and the bathroom. people with disabilities do not have it very well as access to the second floor of the staircase is a toy....etc.

Location 2 roads back from La concha beach couldn't be better, lovely big change my beds and also lovely friendly staff and very clean shared facilities and 100 euro weekly covered parking, honesty box drinks cabinet and towels are strong plus points - Slight neg is a bit of building next door work meant bit of noise at 8.30am and you can hear the neighbors room too which is a pain when they get in at 4.00am ! All in all though at £70 a night highly recommended and a bit of a 🍑 if you are looking for low cost Centre of Donestia facility beach side.

Great location and helpful staff

Excellent price-quality ratio. The cleanliness is to stand out!!! While the bathroom is shared, at every moment you feel like you're the only one using it. Optimal location meters from the beach of La Concha. The staff is very attentive!! We could only recommend requesting interior rooms because those on the street are very noisy and make it difficult to rest.

A very good option.

A small but perfect guesthouse, as it has what is needed for a few days of city visits. The very good location, a 15-minute walk from the train and bus station. A 5-minute walk from the Cathedral and the Playa de la Concha. The small, clean, quiet room and super comfortable bed. Very good staff care. inconvenient: poor access to the rooms, no elevator and the rooms are on a second floor, load with suitcases and have to climb stairs.

Less is more.

The +: common room and toilet very clean (regularly cleaned) French TV channels! Very comfortable bed The staff is very friendly. Good location, very close to the beach. The -: My room was next to the toilet and we could hear all the noise! The walls are fine. My room had no outside view (small window overlooking a courtyard) I recommend this boarding house.

Perfect location, immaculately clean modern rooms & the friendliest of staff who go out of their way to help, all combine to provide a most wonderfully comfortable stay in a truly fascinating Town. Pension Easo is the perfect stay to explore San Sebastián/Donostia. It should be on everyone's "To do" list, it's a great place, simply enjoy it!

Wonderfully friendly Pension ~ 5☆

I stayed here last year for a long weekend and liked it that's why I came back. Will be coming back again later in the year.
Staff were helpful. The location can be noisy but this was no bother. Rooms are small but always clean and tidy. Probably more for a single traveller or a couple. The beach and Old town are only a short walk away. Overall the place is affordable and at a good location.
