My family of 4 rented the 2 bedroom apartment for a week.  The location is awesome in relation to the ski slopes and walking to town.   The apartment was the cleanest I have ever seen.  Richard (proprietor) was there to greet us and made certain that our stay was perfect.  I would stay here again next time we visit.

Excellent location and service

Rooms with different amenities do not justify the same price. The quality of the evening meal is more like that of a canteen, salty and spicy. Due to a rest day every Wednesday, there is no half-pension without a discount. The service is positive, very friendly and the pension is clean. The price-performance ratio is not right. Can't recommend the pension further.

Poor price-performance ratio

This is our second time staying at Pension Grisseman. We traveled with our two children and another family of 5. We each got two family rooms. The family rooms are small but comfortable. Our room was set up with a double bed and a pull out ready for our two children.  My friends family room had an addition single pull out to accommodate their family of 5. Rooms were clean and well equipped.
We arrived at Lech through the Arlberg Express which dropped us off at the post office. We were welcomed by a driver from Grisseman who took multiple trips to take all of us and our luggage to the Pension.
We had, Richard, the owner of the pension buy us the lift tickets ( I think he gets a discount, we paid him at the end with our room). Dinner and breakfast was delightful. There was a great breakfast spread.  For dinner, they have a self-serve salad spread, and a 4 course meal to follow. Our kids were a little picky at times and the chef was amazing accommodating to them. Richard and his staff were extremely helpful. The chef is off on Wednesday, so for that night they made us reservations at a local restaurant that was kid friendly. It was magnificent! 
I highly recommend Pension Grisseman. Excellent for price. Can't wait to go back!!!

Excellent stay and service!

This 3-star hotel shares the location with the probably most expensive hotel in Lech- dem Aurelio located right next door: directly on the runway at Tannberg with a beautiful view of the rufflehead! 5 minutes walk to the center. Cost-effective garage, elevator, super-sauna!!!! Well-arranged and relatively spacious room with balcony- we had room 202 with view of the rufflehead and location. Room with view of the lech balcony rooms outside rather not...... boss Richie and his employees excellent friendship & motivated- no understanding in Lech!!!! breakfast & dinner for a 3-star drinkers very o.k- mostly excellent wine list. We recommend a very small price for a small price of wine.

Excellent location, friendly staff

Our family quarters of the last few years are always worth a trip for us. The rooms are purpose-built, mostly have balconies and all have Wi-Fi, which is, however, to be accessed. The car is safely in the garage under the bridge. The host Richie Grissemann is an absolute sympathizer and strives to read the wishes of his guests from the eyes. Top location, friendly host, acceptable price/performance!

Brilliant stay at pension Grisseman , I have stayed in Lech for 5 years and try to stay in a different hotel each year but I would have no regrets returning here , rooms was spotless , evening meals was excellent , breakfast very good , waitress Tinka was wonderful , great ski in/out location , the pension is only small but cozy , there is no bar area but there is a seating area next to reception , great value for money , 

Great ski in /out 

This is my fifth year of staying at pension Grissemann....I hardly write reports about my travels but I will make an exception for Lech because its my favourite ski resort and love coming back.  I really enjoy staying at pension Grissemann because of its location . it is literally a ski-in ski-out place just off the piste at a very good price and excellent quality of breakfast and dinner.  The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable.  It is a nice touch to be picked up at the post office and dropped off for the Arlberg express to Zurich.  All staff are very nice and make you feel at home.  Especially Monika and Sana !!!  Excellent selection of austrian wines .

just arrived back from Lech and stayed in Pension Grissemann

Stayed at this Pension recently, were in a single room. The overall impression was pretty good for a pension. Really good location, you can ski in and out, fare size for a single room, basic, but nobody expected anything extraordinary from this type of accommodation. 
Room was on a half board basis, standard breakfast and nice three course dinner included. Be aware that kitchen is closed on Wednesdays and you will have to find a place for a dinner on that night. Surprising no compensation or voucher is given by the owner in this case as one could expect. There is a ski room and small sauna and relax area.
Now to the major disappointment I had. It is for sure you need to use safe in this pension as you cannot be sure about even small values you leave in the room. I had a gold chain in my bag which I found missing only when I left the hotel already. 
Thanks my friend were still in Lech and managed to get it back though the first reaction from the owners was that they found nothing. When my friend insisted to double check with a cleaning lady the chain somehow was immediately found. Moreover I also discovered that a hundred dollars banknote has also disappeared from my valet. But as I said – my fault, always use a safe to avoid this situation.

If not this unpleasant accident I would rate the pension much higher. I hope it is just my personal experience 

By the way, the light in my son's room (301) did not work and it has not been fixed though we asked. I do not use TV but if so I would not be able either, the TV was not connected to a cable properly and showed no channels....

Potentially good place but spoiled experience at the end

During the Interburse, I was staying in the boarding house. Our room was very spacious, attractive and very clean. The location is perfect. Ski ride from the house! Close to the center. Breakfast is great! The entire staff, including the boss, are very friendly and hospitable. Affordable garage located right next to the house is possible. Attractive sauna area. Half boarding (fixed menu) was very good. I would love to come back.

It's a pleasant surprise.

Since we have been repeatedly guests at the Grissemann Pension for years, I can confirm that the quality has been and remains constantly at a high level throughout the years. The kitchen is always straightforward and good, without schickimicki, special requests are met with a sense of self-understanding and friendliness. The wine selection is manageable but at the highest Austrian level and, above all, affordable. The location is unparalleledly right on the runway.
