Excellent place . Hannes and all the stuff are very kind and helpful . The rooms are very nice and clean. The food is very good and the lobby with the big glass view on the mountain is awesome. There is a big parking place and the pension is ski in .
Bottom line it's a place highly recommended from me and my friends

Everything super !

Have stayed in Pension Seighof for the first time and would really recommend it. free shuttle to the slopes, very nice food rich buffet, large and comfortable rooms. The staff is very friendly and always smiling and ready to assist you. but the thing that moved me the most is the atmosphere and decoration in the pension. despite being fully equipped with the most modern facilities, it is a museum of old tools, equipment and furniture used in the alps in the past. the environment is so cozy, everything is wooden.Have been visiting Austria for many years and in my opinion it was the best 3-star pension.

Saalbach ski vacation

Pleasant hotel, designed in the local style. They have a great common area where you can relax and drink vine and beers from the bar. There is even a lounch up the wooden stairs. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It is not that far from the skiing lift and the skibus is every 10 min. And sauna is also great and clean. 

The best common room

My husband and I have been staying at the exceptional Pension Seighof now for 20 years, and our favourite hideaway in the mountains continues to evolve and improve - so high time I wrote a review. If you are looking for a unique and special authentically Austrian experience - with humour, style, comfort, convenience, and excellent service, look no further than Pension Seighof. Your host Hannes, his wife Claudia and daughter Miriam will take care of everything you need - whether it's a ride to the lifts, recommendations on restaurants, advice on the best ski shops, selling you ski passes or whatever - always with a smile, efficiently. The rooms and apartments are super comfortable and well laid out with high attention to detail. Plenty of outlets, where you need them, and hooks to hang all your gear; very comfy beds and pillows; well appointed kitchens (in the apartments), hairdryers, etc. And lets talk about the spa! Yes, you have to get naked - this is Austria - but get over it; it's well worth it! Hannes has recently revamped it with a new sauna, steamroom, and 'hammock-bed thing' that you can relax in or meditate. Finally, there is a beautiful new museum / honour-system bard filled with authentic Austrian artefacts and QR codes so you can learn more about them, and a whole tree that comes up through the floor. It has to be seen to be believe (I'll add pictures). There is also a cool chill out zone up the ladder with beds and pillows. So go there - you won't be sorry, and I guarantee you will keep coming back.

Our favourite Austrian winter wonderland - a truly unique experience!

We were in the Seighof for the second time. Hannes and his family have been very dedicated to renovating the boarding house and making it a small museum with a great deal of attention to detail. You can see how much it means to the owners to keep their origin high. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the food is excellent, the new lounge is very well done and the spa area is very clean and comfortable. And the guests are very friendly and uncomplicated, all in all a place to feel comfortable. We have already booked again for next year.

Very friendly, family-friendly, and furnished with much love

Great family run Pension in between Saalbach and Hinterglemn. The rooms were spacious and clean with a daily maid service. There is a free shuttle to the slopes and you can ski back to the hotel if snow conditions permit. 
We were half board, the breakfast service is a buffet with plenty to chose from. The evening meal was a choice of two dishes, all of which were excellent and to high standard. 
This is a family run business that has been passed down from the generations before and is in very good hands.

Would love to return

Very friendly and nice guest house, with amazing food, free wifi, free ski-shuttles and great atmosphere. I would gladly recommend this place. Rooms are spacious, with balconies around the building. The duvets are so warm and cozy after a long day in the slopes.

There is a spa-area with sauna and steamroom, very relaxing after a day skiing!

Hannes and Claudia are great and friendly hosts and offer all sorts of assistance. I would totally come back to this place!

Great accommodation in Saalbach

We are very comfortable with Claudia and Hannes. They are both great hosts and hosts. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The food is really delicious. We can well understand why there are so many regular guests here. The Seighof is highly recommended as accommodation between Saalbach and Hinterglemm.

Skiing week

We were here for a week and it was great. From the service, the room, the food, the shuttle to the elevators, everything is fine. The location is excellent, the city is 10 minutes' walk along the creek. But we gave up the shuttle from the second day and went for a warm morning ski ride and before dinner a walk back to the boarding house. We can really recommend the boarding house. Thanks again to Hannes!

Family-run pension and highly recommended

A great family-run pension. We have booked 5 nights with half-pension and want to go skiing in Saalbacher ski area. We happened to stumble on the Internet because we were looking for cheap little pensions. In the main season we paid from Mo to Sa for DZ with HP 375 euros per person. The pension is on a mountain and is easy to reach. To get to the bus station you just have to go skiing or just pay for every ticket and go skiing (simpler variant). At the bottom of the main street there is a supermarket MPREfect bus. The good thing about this pension is that no matter where you go to a shuttle 2 gondola, or by appointment, you can go to the Hannover railway station early in the morning and get to the main railway station.
