Pensiunea Brici

For one night I booked at the Brici Pension in Cluj, as the location between the car rental and the train station seemed favourable to me. And even though the neighborhood seemed only limitedly friendly, it became a very relaxed stay. I got a room on the upper floor that had probably recently undergone some renovations. But everything was fine and I was also kindly admitted. Through some guests who smoked in the entrance area and were well known to the pensioners, the hotel did not seem very professional, but still trustworthy. Overall, I had a positive impression and thought Briuneaci was a suitable choice for cost-conscious travelers.

Affordable accommodation in Cluj

My wife and I only stayed one night to make a stopover during our vacation. Very positive impression, excellent cleanliness and hospitality of the owner, spacious room with all the comforts.

Stop the journey

During my stay in Pensiunea Brici, I can say it was an amazing experience. The Owner "Diana" and the entire family,  made my friend and I feel that we where at home. Since the check in time, Diana"s mother offer a very nice coffee and  then Diana showed that she is a very charming host giving us a confortable room , also it was a quiet one.

The relation between  the price and quality of the service and the whole accomodation are much more that you can expected. Nice room, very good WIFI signal connection, and the location is ok for me. The dowtown of Cluj is just few minutes walking (around 20min max) and there is a Grocery store in a gas station two blocks from the house and I noticed that the neighborhood is very safe. If you prefer to stay at home also you have the option to call for a delivery food.

I would never forget my experience in Pensiunea Brici.. The last Day even Diana was not at the house, her father offer to my friend and I a very warming and delicius tea, even we did not understand each other very well with the language , but he speak a language that is beyond the others: "Kindness".. Thanks a lot Diana for everything.

I definetely recommended Pensiunea Brici to all travelers in Cluj Napoca.

Very nice and helpful Hostel with a great family Host!

They were reforming the place when I stayed there one night. Actually, when I called to book, the receptionist warned me. Staff/owners were friendly and helpful. 

The room was not bad (although the decorators could use some help - curtains, lights) , except the entrance door that made me feel insecure, as the upper half was plain glass. The bed was comfortable and clean, the bathroom rather modern. 

Overall ,it's a mix of search for quality and things done rapidly when money is available.  Though, it shows potential. 

The neighbourhood drags down the place. I think it's safe enough during the day, but at night a cab is safer (and cheap) . There was a fight at a corner bar the night I was there and the street lighting is scarce. 

All in all, the price/quality is good.

I spend one night here and was very peacefull. The lady from reception was kind and she give us all what we need. She serve us with "palinca" and keep our backpacks before check-in hour. Is very close to the Center of City 15 min by walking and in the night was very silent. The bathroom was very clean has some blue lights and it was very nice. I really recomand this place for a friends trip or couple trip.

Best welcome

This boarding house is highly recommended! I stayed there for three days and felt very comfortable. By bus you can reach the city centre in 10 minutes. The breakfast is very rich and can only be made for good eaters! The owners are very good hosts, so you can feel the great hospitality of the Romanians!°

Pension with great owners

We spent here only one night (my family and me) in mid-September. The place is a nice, large pension house just 10-15 minutes walk from the centre. The owners are very friendly, they offered us a shot from the local spirit (palinka). The rooms are tidy and large, the bed is comfortable, and everything has a new-look! The  house is quite and the street as well. If you want a good place for a reasonable price, this is it!

"Warm welcome."

Rooms are clean, bathrooms are modern, beds are very comfortables and the owners are the best!!!! There's little markets where you can buy what you need 5 min away by walk, the big food market is 15 min away by walk. Walk distance from city center to! If I had to return to Cluj-Napoca I would go there with no hesitation!

Best value and best owners ever!!!

In my visit to Romania, before returning to Spain, and through the mediation of the person who was my eyes in sighetu marmatiei, Ms. ioana de casa iurca, I was lucky enough to meet this pension and the family that governs it. the family brici attended me exuberantly, it is more, as if it were one more of them. i carry them in my heart, especially a daiana, the little translator of the house. i recommend the stay to everyone. i have no words to describe the experience.
