*  the swimming pool inside the yard helps you to cool off on the hot summer days, we came here with the motorcycles after a few hundred km of walking, we relaxed in the pool

Summer moto trip

I have just spent another weekend here and it was splendid, again. The big news is the massive upgrade going on this year, starting with the big pool, and that really matters, as there is nothing better than to have a swim after a hot afternoon visiting the quaint medieval town. The owner recently changed the landscape and everything seems to be even more green and spacious, giving the place a “retreat” feeling. We stayed in one of the big rooms upstairs and the view was priceless in the morning, basking in the sunrise light, surrounded by hills and admiring the gracious silhouette of the 12th century old cathedral up on the medieval fortress. There is no breakfast included (due to pandemic regulations) but the kitchen house is big and has all the amenities for self-catering. Overall the experience is a great value for money and I can go on and on about the comfort, the silence, the long alley guarded by apple-trees, the fresh smell of nature, the view over Braite plateau, the gentle attitude of the manager but the real deal is to just be there and enjoy! I myself can hardly wait to come back! Thank you for everything!

Nature, history, relaxation and a big nice pool!

The rooms are very clean and quiet. The host/staff is very friendly and charming. I really liked that they prepared coffee (in a thermos) with some fruit for breakfast, really nice touch! I appreciate that the bathrooms were very very clean. I liked the modern look of the hotel, it didn't seem old, and I also personally likes the color scheme of the place. There is a very nice view of the surrounding hills and while its a bit far away from the city (30 min walking), it also means it's quieter.

Overall, I think this place is a very good value for your money.

Very clean, modern looking, quiet and friendly staff!

We were in some kind of trouble, our previously booked room (in another hotel in the city) was simply uninhabitable. We landed in surprise and Fred, the owner, was boundlessly kind. He soon saw our state a little panicked and offered us a room with a beautiful view. He didn't insist on getting paid on the field and his trust reconciled us with the city. Thank you, I recommend this place.

It's a great hotel, a great boarding house.

Do not be afraid of the distance. Only a 15 min walk from the hustle and bustle of the noisy tourist filled city center we found a great place to stay. Cheap and clean and a huge room to park a car in it!! The garden has huge juicy apples that you pick and eat! Fred is an awesome guy and friendly!! I recommend staying there!!

Nice, clean, quiet place!!

- very generous rooms - fair price - extremely clean - very helpful, friendly owners (cool tips or even a short conversation just like that) - 2 km walk from the centre didn't bother - It was a pity that there was no way to eat or drink in the boarding house.

Super room, very friendly and welcoming

Our stay was great. Fred was super nice, helpful and extremely professional. I would say that he is probably the most professional of all the pensiune owners I have dealt with. The rooms are very nicely taken care of and clean. Highly recommended.

Great Customer Service

It hasn't got a restaurant, but does have a dining hall and kitchen one can cook in. Still considering the city itself is the best attraction of the area and has multiple great venues to eat, I personally never felt the need to eat at the inn during my stay.
The price is more than fair and the owner is very accommodating.

All in all it's a good place to spend the week-end while in Sighisoara.

Clean, spacious and with a great view of the surrounding hills.

Clean and spacious rooms not to far from the center but expensive considering that no breakfast is provided. No kitchen facility, no common areas. The owner should convert the ground floor rooms into a living room and restaurant.
