Clean, very functional room with kettle (+tea/coffee), fridge, water bottles, dry hair, toiletries... comfortable bed. Perfect, cozy and varied lunch. Smile and welcoming staff. Only bemool but which is also a quality located in the center of the tourist district. So everything nearby (restaurant, supermarket...) but quite noisy.

From the positive reviews I expected a mostly clean and possibly modern hotel. However, the bathroom facilities are already quite old and mostly stained, in the room there were water leakage marks on every wall. The music from the nearby walking street / backpackers area was very loud until 4am. As the owners were quite nice and they upgraded my room, I decided to stay even though I didn't feel comfortable. I'm not sure about the genera hotel standards in HCMC and whether this simply is the standard. Next time I'd rather pay some more, but have a better hotel. 

Please note that there was a name and also owner's change because from the original Pink Tulip website you can read that the plot owner sold the property and that's why Pink Tulip is no longer. So, I strongly assume that the "Dutch" owners are no longer there because the Vietnamese couple I rented from hardly spoke English. And yes, they were friendly and helpful, but not as friendly as the older reviews would let you expect it. 

Breakfast was ok. For a couple or group travelers, the price per room incl. breakfast is probably a good deal, but for a solo traveler I felt I overpaid for what I got. 

Noise: You need earplugs. I was on the 4th flloor and it felt like I was in the middle of everything. With earplugs I didn't hear anything and that's why I stayed. 

Location: Very good for nightlife, airport bus 109 leaves about 100m from the hotel, just up the street. 

Cleanliness: In the room ok-ish, it's a 2-star hotel in Vietnam, after all.

You get what you pay for

Overall the experience here was pretty positive. The staff is friendly and the location is perfect. The breakfast simple European. The area around is very noisy, especially during night. This is the price of having best location in district 1. You get a real glimpse of Sai Gon today.

5 stars to the great great service and staff. Safe and clean and the perfect breakfast. Tks so much for taling care of my mom and her friends. Hope to stay with you guys again in future. Close to many great places.

Hotal Stay

The Pink Tulip Hotel is a great friendly little hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City District 1. If you like a bit of nightlife and plenty of dining options, this is the place to be. It’s location is by far one of its biggest selling points. 

My room was basic but comfortable with all of the amenities you would come to expect including air conditioning and free wifi. There was a bit of noise all through the evening from nearby nightclubs and bars on Bui Vien Street, so if you don’t like noise, this might not be the place for you. It didn’t worry me, I could sleep through an earthquake. 

Breakfast each morning was delicious and there are a number of options available in regards to breakfast. For me it was a very pleasant stay at the Pink Tulip and I will be definitely booking in here next time I’m in Ho Chi Minh.

Great Location And Atmosphere

If you want prostitution, this is your hotel, don't give up what you see in the photos, and even though you're well situated, the place where you meet is dirty and you can hear it at night.

Total fraud is total fraud.

The most helpful and easy staff and great sleep so far in Vietnam. The location is of course perfect for tourists but it’s the friendly care and concern of the staff that make it perfect. They helped me arrange my onward travel flawlessly and the breakfast was great. Clean, quiet and comfy. 

Awesome hotel!

The hotel is very well located.The rooms are a little dirty, especially the bathroom with mold, but the beds are very comfortable.The breakfast is very rich, and they serve it until 10am, which is appreciated in Vietnam.

stayed here on our first and last night in Saigon great location in district 1 so you can walk to most attractions as I found most taxis will try to rip you of fast meters better to agree a set price the rooms were a good size with a safe box cable tv air con the bath room had a very good shower all in all a excellent stay

great location

excellent location right by the bars and restaurants. the staff were really helpful and friendly. nice owners too! bought a ticket for the taxi at the airport and when I showed the taxi driver, he said yes this was for his taxi, when we got to the location turned out it wasn't and i had to pay again,,, but the owners sorted it so I could use the receipt to get a taxi back to the airport when I left. def would recommended.
