Hello, It's one of those cases that you don't understand why it has a score of 5 out of 5. Room without curtain, without night lamp, with a mosquito in the window that had more shit than a chicken coop, window in the window that you take out your hand and bump into 5 with the front room and lots of noise: house with wooden floors and roofs, hear the steps and the voices of the entire hostel, doorways, room smells of tobacco. Please, in front of the beach, there is a place for parking and the kitchen and bathroom are clean. Air is clean and there is no heat in the room. There is no return.

It's unstable, noisy, less than I expected.

We stayed one night in the newly opened establishment just 2 months ago. The room was more than spacious and very clean (with a bathtub as a bonus). The theme around the puzzle is strongly present on the walls, it's very nice to discover them all. The grandfather is included in the price (48 euros a night). The reception provided by Pedro the manager is more than pleasant, it offers you a map of the city as well as the right addresses to rest in the surroundings.

I highly recommend it!

Very well situated, 5 minutes walk from the beach and the city centre. Possibility of parking on the street. Super friendly accommodation. Very well equipped common kitchen, the hotel is like new, well decorated and very clean. Free Wi-Fi. Only a terrace or garden is missing.

Where to Advise

We were also shocked that he spoke Italian better than us (utopia in Portugal!). It is worth visiting Figueira just for this hostel.

What a puzzle!

Cockroached and spoiled as if we were in a five-star hotel, Pedro will forever remain in our hearts, a hostel in a very comfortable position both for the sea and for the center, equipped with every comfort, a common kitchen with everything necessary, impeccable cleanliness and then... Pedro, the soul of this place!

The best

I can't speak more highly of Pedro and his Puzzle Hostel. We hired the whole hostel for a long weekend that we played in a beach rugby tournament. Not easy for any host to look after a sports team on tour but Pedro was great. He's looked after our team for 4 years now but this was my first time here. He went to extra lengths to make our stay as good as it could of been. Even coming and watching us play and giving us advice on how to win. If we listened we would of finished in a higher position. 
As far as the hostel goes it was really clean comfortable and well set up. I particularly admired the puzzles everywhere.
I highly recommend staying at Puzzle Hostel. 

Pedro is the Greatest.

Great hostel for a low price! Pedro's an excellent host who loves nothing more than to show you arround the town. The rooms are comfy, everything is absolutely clean and you immediately feel at home. Free parking in front of the door and most things are at walking distance. Just book your room here!

Best hostel ever

It was a week before our departure that we booked at the Puzzle Hotel. We wanted first of all a cheap hotel. But to our biggest surprise, this hotel was well above our expectations! On the day we arrived, we received a text asking us kindly when we should check in. When we arrived, we were greeted pleasantly by the hotel manager who, after showing us the hotel and the room, suggested several restaurants, suggested things to see and told us that it was available whenever we wanted. The room was very pretty, sober with candles, and a small light bathroom. The bunk was very comfortable. It was just a little cold to find a kitchen in the dining room. But we can also cook them in the kitchen, as well as in the fridge, and we can recommend them in the service room. We can also cook them in the kitchen, as well as in the fridge.

Conquered by this hotel!!

We spent two nights quietly, the welcome was very friendly, we enjoyed our trip, the large beach nearby makes for a quiet stroll, the town is a bit concrete, but it's definitely worth strolling through the streets of Buarcos with the scent of fried fish.

Very well placed... very good plan.

We came to the Puzzle Hostel after the main season and were the only guests for 2 nights. Pedro, the owner, is happy to help you with every matter. The rooms are very cozy and clean, decorated with mind. a puzzle :) Pedro also knows very well English, which is not always common in Portugal... Breakfast is ok, is perfectly enough. The road to the beach is not even 5 minutes away. We can definitely recommend the Puzzle Hostel!:)
