We chose lapad for accommodation because it was cheaper than the old town. I don't know if we did well afterwards. This apartment is near the main promenade of lapad full of places to eat. It is 25 minutes walk from the port and more than half an hour from the old town but reachable by bus number 6 that passes near the apartment. The managers are very kind, they offered us water and liquor made by them on our arrival.

Very well located 5 minutes from the beach and the shopping center. Nearby there are also good restaurants for dinner and a good coffee. The room was very clean although the bathroom was a little bad the first day, perhaps because it was raining, but the owner was very good and helped us with those problems, besides explaining all the options we had to visit the city. We will certainly repeat if we return to Dubrovnik. But it was that we were 30 minutes away from the center, but how we like to walk was a problem for us.

Highly recommended for holiday accommodation, very good service, nice rooms with bathrooms,  common kitchen facilities, easy access to main attractions. We would book again if we come back to Dubrovnik in the future.

Great service, nice room, good location

We stayed at rooms ruza at the beginning of our holiday. Our host was very helpful. We had a private bathroom opposite. Room was clean and we liked our little balcony for a refreshing evening beer; We watched the cruise ships come in, in the distance. The area is quiet and two food shops close by. Bus stop is 2 minute walk to get to the old town. The Mariana had great food nearby... which turns out was perfect for a proposal from my now fiancé! 

Helpful staff and good location 

The contact with them was very friendly. They were both helpful and provided extensive information. They also got good tips when asked. They knew each other in their city. They spoke English and Croatian. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The bathroom is across the hall and was also neat. You can hardly tell from the outside that this is the guest house you are looking for. Here a clearly fitted sign could help.

Clean, easy accommodation within walking distance of the sea, shops and restaurants

Very friendly and available staff. Modest rooms but with air conditioning. We had a private bathroom. Possibility to put drinks or something in the fridge, and wire. You can easily reach the old part of Dubrovnik and other tourist areas from here.

Good location.

The room is not in the best location for the Old City, but nice to see the Lapad region. The staff is very friendly and understanding. I accidentally booked the wrong dates but they were understanding and gave me a room for the right dates with no extra charge! That doesnt happen at most places. The room was nice, shower didnt drain well but overall a clean, enjoyable experience.

Great staff and decent room

Despite the kindness and sympathy of the owner, we found ourselves very bad. The price requested is definitely excessive: we stayed 10 days in a tiny, dirty monolocal for 800 euros!!!!! In addition to the photos posted on the site you don't quite understand which apartment you will be assigned. The cooking corner was very dirty (we found the ovens, support floors and dirty dishes of food, the pots and pans, and the seeds of salted potatoes for the floor!!).
