The hotel is great, I especially enjoyed talking with bartender Yasin, near the diamond bar, really great guy. The hotel was really good aswell, food has big variety of things to choose from, it’s also very delicious. Would really recommend going gere with friends or family or alone, as you will deffinatey find friends here

Great week with friends here at Saphir hotel!

We have been to Turkey 4times each trip was good but this one was terrible rooms filthy food inedible no one to complain to we saw our rep twice first when we arrived then at airport when we were leaving the worst 2 weeks of my life never again !!

Dire

Stayed here for 2 weeks in September and had to constantly ask reception to change my towels and clean my room in the end they cleaned it 3 times in 2 weeks disgraceful I would never stay here again and certainly would not recommend the place!

NEVER AGAIN!!

We were looking forward to returning to this hotel 9 years before it was lovely However in September we returned to a horrible place room was not cleaned had to get our own towels and bedsheets and bin emptied once! Complained nothing on the Monday afternoon we stayed and went in the pool which is ok are are the grounds however after returning to the pool 300 lira had been stolen out of hubby’s wallet and hotel rung the police we found out only later this was rife in the hotel ,when we arrived home my wife noticed a new tee shirt of mine was missing out of the dirty case we put dirty stuff in a Fred Perry that had cost 50 please don’t stay here it spoilt our break and the thought of someone going threw our things upset my wife deeply

They still have not emptied my bin (which is full of used toilet tissue,the toilet itself is leaking,still not changed my sheets I've been here 6 days and still have another 9 long miserable days to go,my room is starting to stench and there are ants in my bed

It’s horrible here mattress smelled of wee,electric didn’t work holes in wall where electric points are sink blocked, toilet appeared to have a leak,,shower floods ,food looked not fresh or appetising ,room grotty with damp patches on wall,don’t come here! Please do yourself a favour!
Aircon didn’t work old fashioned TV set only one socket it’s totally horrible here,in middle of nowhere,no fridge to keep cold drinks,no kettle if you wanted a tea or coffee,WiFi keeps logging you out,noisy,like living in bean can,no shops nearby only teensy which don’t even sell much,

Mediocre

I stayed here between 27th July and 6th August 2019.  To be honest it is a lovely little Hotel in a fantastic location.  The staff were friendly the pool area good and the breakfast lots of it, fresh bread, tomatoes, cheese, salad, honey, boiled eggs and a couple of other hot dishes.
My big problem was the non cleaning of the rooms, my Husbands room was not cleaned in 10 days. Even when we complained TWICE nothing was done. I feel that this is a great pity and is really letting the Hotel down.  There is no mini bar/ fridge in the bedrooms. no bedside lockers nor lamps to read with in the evening.  I did eventually get a bedside lamp that I had on the floor beside my bed after about 3 days. My Husband and Sister had no lamps and their rooms were never cleaned. We have seperate rooms because of a snoring problem.
So again all I can say is a great location and breakfast, nice pool but
 the non cleaning is a serious problem for this Hotel.   When I told people in the resort (local people) where we were staying they seemed to know about the cleaning problem and didn't know why it was such an issue and why the Management didn't just get proper cleaners they mentioned it even though I didn't.

Why oh why didn't I take notice of all the negative reviews.This hotel should get an award for being the worst of the worst.Slimy Sam the resteraunt manager is a true sleaze ball.Asked me on my first night there to loan him 500 lira just till Monday and not to tell anyone. Errmmm....nope....made me wonder how many more solo female travellers he had asked.Reported  him to the manager who just shrugged his shoulders. The rooms are awful.Dirty is an understatement.They are vile.The cleaners went in daily.yez the bin in the toilet was emptied and the bed made.That was it.The cobwebs that were around the door when i first arrived were still there when i left.The toilet was a whole new experience,you had to hold onto the sink while sitting on one side of the loo as it moved. Many times using the loo I wished I was male.The breakfast which was typically Turkish started out quite well.then quickly went down hill till we endedup with chips ( yep chips) bread,butter,jam,horrible stringy cheese, and mushed tomato. The tea in the urn was just reheated daily so it became like tar.The
staff are extremely rude.The guy on the bar doesn't know what smile and Thank you mean.There is no atmosphere around the bar or pool area it's dire.A week before the hotel closed they turned off the chemicals into the pool so it became a dark green slimy stagnant mess.( I'm just glad no one fell in.they would of been very poorly).I was told the day I left the bar was closing at midday so no more drinks.so I took great delight by asking the lady in the shop near the hotel to make me some sandwiches and a coffee which I then ate in front of the bar underneath the sign stating " food and drink must not be brought from the outside into the hotel. If you do it will be  removed". It wasn't removed 😂.The cleaner hung around as i left I think she was expecting a tip.I have no idea why she thought she deserved one.she didn't clean.Im so sorry I didn't take on board the reviews of this hotel.Please don't do what i did and think " it can't be that bad " it's worse than bad.It should be given an award for being the worst of the worst.I honestly wouldn't recommend any single ladies stay here.Infact I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.It needs knocking down and being rebuilt with a manager thst cares about the guests and staff that actually want to work.Avoid it at all costs.Its dire and dismal

Enter at your own peril.....

My dad and I have been going to this place for 3 years as we like it here and it has good value for the price. But this year is has been a horrible experience as my dad is old school and carries big sums of money, he decided to hide it in the closet under his clothes before we went for our day trip to Kos. When we came back to the room we saw our perfumes were stolen and so my dad looked straight for his money and all was gone. 
There was no sign that someone has broken in and it was obviously that the person had a key as we had double locked it. So we are sure that it’s someone that works in the hotel. Of course we called the police and did all the necessary paperwork and changed hotel as the hotel staff did not care and no investigation was done by them. We strongly discourage anyone to stay at this hotel after what happened to us!!

All money stolen by staff or owner

Not very clean, the staff is not much help... maybe management problems? If you are looking for a cheap hotel with a pool and a/c this could be suitable for you. No comments on the breakfast other than there is minimum selection. Quiet in the evenings👍
