The willows was  the worst hotel i have been in ,i have been there with my pragnant wife ,the heating was not working or they turned it of there was pigeon in the celling the room is durty it was complety diffrent then the pictur . We had to leave .

The worst experience of my life

I booked this hotel for myself and partner, when booking the room we were only given the option of non refundable, be aware of this if you book, they don’t accept the error of this. We then read the reviews on trip advisor so decided that as an elderly couple, this hotel was not safe to stay in. I contacted them  to ask for a refund which they refused. I raised all of my concerns with them but they told me they were unfounded - I felt that trusting the reviews was safer so we decided to go else where, sadly we lost our money but at least we felt safer. Be careful there are cheaper and nicer hotels in Brighton. 

They have no idea about good customer service

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! It was awful from when you walked in to checking out. The bedsheets had stains on them, the shower was mouldy with no hot water and the main lobby carpet was worn with holes in it.  The fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling, there were nails in the wall where pictures had previously been and water marks down the walls and the 24 hour desk they advertise is just a mobile phone number.
All the pictures on their website are misleading and not at all representative of the actual room. We were charged £161 per night for 2 adults and even £20 would have been too much 
The stained bedsheets were awful but nothing could be done when we were going to bed, as there wasn’t a front desk. It felt totally unclean and disgusting.

The worst stay ever!

NOT SAFE!!! This place should be closed down is more a drug house than hotel with no staff after check in. We only stayed here because of the train strikes because of no staff we felt trapped. Banging all night and day from upstairs. No clean towels.everything was grimy and filthy they should be ashamed. It faces a road of houses not a waterfront view so don't be fooled by photos. There was a tablet on the floor and room is filled with black mould and smells of mould. We slept with the light on its so scary. There was like a wash lotion but smell it, it smells vile don't use it. As you go up the stairs your see bits of the carpet pulled and we felt that could only be from rodents. The room had not been not cleaned for a long time. I will share photos how vile. Your only left with mobile number that don't worked if call for emergency. I had my daughter with me it should be illegal to let children and adults in a place like that. This is how I imagine a bail hotel to be. No room in shower or toilet. Shower floods as has no proper drainage.weird broken peice of furniture.not comfy bed but you wont get sleep anyway . Exposed toilets brush so it badly stinks. Don't risk staying here - we both came home ill. They shamefully disappear after check in so you can't get your money back and rebook somewhere else.

It's more like a drug house

The room is slightly bigger than a double bed.
The top of the bed is against the the wall the foot of the bed is against the window  with about 2 foot of space . 
The decor is worn paint! 
The window was filthy 
The carpet was filthy 
The toilet/shower space was disgusting. 
The pictures on their site is not what you get 
I did not expect 5* but I did expect a clean room 
There was no storage to hang clothes , no draws to put anything in.
Please do nit waste your money here
I'm sure prison cells are bigger and definitely cleaner

We paid £75 for a double room for a night stay in Brighton. 

The room was very dirty in general, which whilst not pleasant, is livable for a nights stay...

However, when we returned from dinner, we pulled back the duvet to notice a dark patch on the sheets. This wasnt actually the sheet, but it being a paper thin sheet direct onto the mattress, we looked under to find a large blood patch. 

The sheet being paper thin, we chose to sleep cold on top of the duvet as the rest of the mattress was disguisting also. When I messaged the hotel, I recieved no reply from the hotel. 

Have now seen these sort of reviews emerging, strongly suggest yous stay elsewhere and avoid at all costs.

Blood stained mattress in dirty room

On my booking it stated sea view, I had a view of the walls of neighbouring hotels, plug sockets next to the bed, there was none.
Our TV didn't work at all and the shower was FILTHY. It states sound-proof, I heard next doors TV all night!! Trying my best to get a refund as we cut our holiday short and left a day early, the hotel aren't responding either. Awful!!

!!! AVOID !!!

We recently stayed her for one night and the hotel is perfect, the location is brilliant, the views of the beach are lovely and the staff were polite, definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good value hotel

Brilliant hotel

Needed a room for the night down visiting family for a birthday.

Chose the willows as the pictures looked adequate and the location was ideal.

The chap who signed us in was brilliant as I was struggling with parking locally but he let me park on the for 10£

The room we chose was the double with a sea view. We got the double with a sea view. 

It has a bnb feel but with the lack of breakfast.

The bed was okay, we had enough space and the telly was perfect.

My girlfriend did not sleep as the wind blowing against the windows made a loud racket through the night and you could hear creaking and movement all around you.

The shower was horrendous, it trickles out and was not powerful at all. I like a good shower.

For me, £100 for the room is to steep for what we experienced. 

Would not choose to stay here again.

Mixed feelings 

We was really impressed with the willows! Very clean and the owners being very welcoming! Nothing negative to say really.... we would definitely come back to this place. Definitely worth £60 for 2 on a Saturday night with a sea view!! Thank you
