This place is crystal clean ! Spotless and the stuff helped us with every single thing we asked for ! They went beyond and above to help ! We had the car in their parking for 37 days , (price is more than decent),when we got back they picked us up from the airport with lots of luggage ! Everything was on time , the food is delicious ! Thank u

Was in Budapest for an assessment and booked two nights at the Sarokhaz Panzio. Very pleasant hotel, staff couldn’t do enough for you

Great food there, both breakfast and evening meal, good selection of beers and all very affordable to.

Very Good Local Vecses Hotel

I liked that the property was very close to the airport. My flight to Budapest landed at around midnight, so it was handy having accommodation close to the airport so I could get to bed quickly. It is easy to get a cheap taxi to the property from the airport. The property is not close to the center of Budapest, but this is not a problem. The employees will provide a lift to the city center. On my last day, I had an evening flight. After being dropped off in the city center, I was shown where to get the bus to the airport. This really helped me when I wanted to get to the airport after sightseeing in the morning and afternoon.

Stayed in this hotel, because of its location close to airport as my flight arrived late in the evening. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful, eventhough I arrived quite late and was leaving very early. Eventhough it is in close proximity to the airport the place is really quiet and not noisy as I expected it to be.

Hotel near airport

My daughters and I stayed at this hotel when we arrived in Budapest and again before we left. Staff amazing and helpful. Stay was certainly worth every penny paid. Historic little hotel with lots to offer including airport shuttle service, great restaurant with awesome soups and great food, outside patio and nice clean rooms with a full fridge of goodies. We visited 8 countries in Europe while were there but this was our favorite little hotel and will return there if we ever get back to Hungary.

Wonderful hotel Unforgettable

It‘s a very nice little hotel. Seems to be family run and a great alternative to the big airport hotels. 

It‘s clean, friendly, charming and offers airport transport. A little place with a lot of character. 

Airport stay

very close to the airport, ideal for overnight stays before an early morning flight or after a late night flight. It’s cheap and cheerful but was very clean and the staff were all really helpful and accommodating. Very good value for money. Decor is very traditional, but there was a really good shower and the rooms were quite spacious.

I stayed here for one night before an early flight home from Budapest. It’s friendly, convenient and clean. I ate in the restaurant, and food was good. My early morning (4:30am) transfer cost 2,000 HUF (€ 8), and was good. There’s not much to do or see in the local area – apart from a busy road – but room seemed well insulated. I’ll stay again if I have another early flight.

Friendly and convenient airport hotel

Return flight was at 06:00 so booked this place. The hotel is off the main road so getting there means walking around 800 yards crossing a double railway line and the side road has no pavement. Hotel has 3 buildings all next to each other. Check in was swift, night rate was around 55 Euros. We were in an adjacent building crossing a country lane. Separate locked gates provide access. The building has a lounge area with a dining table, upstairs is a lovely seating area. This building has an african theme with Egyptian paintings, carved wooden furniture and a plasma TV. Room has a small entrance with an antique style lockable wardrobe which has an electronic safe in it (I think you pay extra). Wooden double bed with wooden matching room furniture, mini bar but no tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom has a shower with the sink fitted with a sensor tap.

Room was clean & so was the bathroom. We did not have breakfast so can't provide feedback but option was given to include if required. Hotel provides shuttle to airport for 2000HUF or 8 Euros per party (MAX 4 but check with hotel). We were picked up in a 7 seater on time at 4 a.m. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you have early morning flight and like me don't want to risk getting stuck in traffic or being late. Booked on booking.com to pay on check in. Hotel responded via email within minutes of booking.

Losing on full score of 5 for lack of tea/coffee in room and air con pumping heat out despite being set at below 5 degrees and cooling (I do know how to set that kind of system up as had the same issue at another branded hotel 2 nights earlier) 

Near Airport, Decent Place

We stopped here like many as it’s close to the airport and we had an early flight and didn’t fancy the 40 minute drive from the Centre of Budapest.
The approach looks a little ominous and we were pleasantly surprised, parking at the side too.
All the communal areas have seating areas, plants and traditional decor and feel friendly.
The rooms are traditional style but equipped well and there is a shower room.
We ate a nice meal too on the restaurant.
Friendly staff and a bargain rate really- would stay again on our next visit
