I took a tour of the tour operator's travel store with comfort conditions. I settled in room 101 of this hotel. The first thing I felt when I entered the room was the steady smell of the sewer. The oldest hotel in the city, a very decent building, but it is noticeable that it is not having its best days right now. If you walk right through it yesterday, you'll find yourself in a huge hall with a park and spectacular windows to the cafeteria and the bridge. In the hall during our stay the schoolchildren were just dancing. Of course, the hotel manager's website indicates that there was also a bar bar on the street until tomorrow morning, so that the entire cafeteria and theatres of the city's cafeteria could be replaced.

It's a normal hotel for a couple nights.

The biggest plus is the location - the center. The beach is a few minutes away. The Kronid Gogolov Museum is the same. There are many cafes nearby. The room is good, but somehow empty. Maybe I'm sneezing. But it's okay to stare. You can hang on the walls and Karelian posters. It's very uncomfortable that there's no teapot and tea accessories in the room. But the waitress downstairs delivers the teapot on request. Or if you have a cup and tea, you can pour hot water from the kettle downstairs.

Good mood.

The convenient location from the shops, the responsive staff, the rooms are not cold, there was an extra radiator, the room was clean, there were towels, the fridge is common, you need to ask the administrator for the key.

A cozy hotel

The hotel is located right on the shore of the bay, with a good promenade area. In front of the entrance to the hotel-culture house stands a square with a monument to the runoff singer, and behind it the old building of the Finnish bank. It is three minutes' walk from the city centre to one side and five minutes from the piers to Valaam. The price of the two-bedroom room (2200 r.) does not include breakfast. Well there is no restaurant. And in my opinion this price is unjustifiable at all.
