We travel a lot and had high expectations for this resort..
Buffet restaurant was very chaotic, a fair selection but far too manic to be enjoyable.
A La carte restaurants definitely worth a visit.
Everyone raved about the entertainment but my kids(7&4) were not interested one bit and I don’t blame them. The shows after the children’s show were also very poor.
The pools are very tired and had a lot of missing tiles.

My main gripe is the amount that we paid to go away in peak holiday season,  there were several days that we couldn’t get a sunbed, this wouldn’t have been a problem if there was any enforcement on reserving beds, we often see hotels tie tags to beds with a time and if they aren’t used in an hour the towels are removed. The hotel really needs to do something about this considering the number of guests.

There was often a big queue for the bars to get a drink. 

Far too many guests

We stayed at the Holiday Village Seaview Hotel in August. The hotel did not live up to expectations. With a four star rating and due to the large sum paid, we were expecting a clean, contemporary place with everything in good working order.
Unfortunately the hotel fell well short of this basic expectation, so much so that we decided to move hotel in order to try and salvage our holiday.
The hotel was in fact tired and in need of updating.  Part of the problem I think was that there were too many people for the number of staff.  The dining experience was manic and stressful as the staff were visibly stressed from the shear volume of people. It felt like a war zone with plates and utensils constantly crashing. The food offering was substandard and kept running out and the ketchup and drinks were constantly runout. So this didn’t make for a good experience. We ate out the second night of our stay before moving hotel because it was so bad.
The room was disappointing. There was a hole in the wall by the bed, lots of limescale and grouting issues in the bathroom, the sliding door barely opened and needed replacing and the air conditioning was noisy but didn’t really work.
Outside there were tiles that had come off by the sim-up pool, the glass boundary was grubby, the parasols and chairs were sun bleached and looked tired and the whole atmosphere was not very relaxing or inviting.
I’ve paid less for a holiday in the past and stayed in a much better quality hotel. This place was not valid for money.

Disappointing.  Not value for money

We went here as a family and a group at the beginning of October. I was worried as the reviews weren’t looking great but we loved it here and would defo go back. 

Only arrival the kids got a tshirt from the kids club and although we weren’t meant to get our rooms till 4pm they were ready for us at 11am. The rooms were just what you needed, clean and roomy. I felt our room was pretty modern too. The maid was there everyday with new towels. 

The reception was always helpful. I found the hotel to be clean, some of the shared toilets are needing a little tlc to licks on doors, etc. But they were clean enough. The pools were fab, there was food all the time throughout the day and staff went above. Especially the cook at the outdoor area cooking pizzas, she was a life saver to the kids a few times. 

Night entertainment wasn’t great but I think it’s like that everywhere now. The guys tried their hardest and the kids loved it so that’s all that mattered to me. 

There was a quieter area which was fab and empty most of the time! 

You could grab the local bus outside for about €1.40ish to take you into town which took 10 minutes but it was actually a nice walk which took about an hour to walk down. 

We really enjoyed the food. We actually felt it was a good enough variation that we didn’t even try the extra restraunts on site. A couple who was with us didn’t enjoy as they are a bit fussy with food so they didn’t enjoy it. But I had no complaints. 

The kids team really did try their hardest, I actually found them funny myself. 

Only downside was returning to the airport there wasn’t anyone from tui/first choice checking who was getting on what bus and our bus ended up being over crowded with the mixed up. 

The water park was amazing for the kids. 

In all I would defo recommend to family’s! Maybe not so much just couples or groups. 



Fab holiday resort 

We travelled as a couple on 14th October 2023 for one weeks all inclusive stay. I will start with areas that we feel would benefit those that are couples or single travelers without children as the hotel is virtually for families with children apart from a postage stamp adults corner near the infinity pool area. To make this hotel more appealing to people without children the whole infinity pool/ chillout area should be just for adults to create a truly relaxing area without screaming children and ball games. It does have notices around the pool area of being a quiet zone but sadly this was never enforced by staff or parents of certain children. Please bear in mind this is a lovely part of the hotel if you are going and would highly recommend this simple alteration would add to a person's holiday. This has been mentioned on other reviews so please if you could do this we would probably return!

Another area is to restaurant stroke canteen, kids flying about with no control from parents was a common occurrence with no staff stopping them although that really is not what they are paid for! I am sure they could in this area make an adult only area. There is a lovely outside space to eat overlooking the bay which was lovely so perhaps this could be made adult only area? My partner and I had to stagger all meals around these issues and always ate a later sitting so it wasn't crowded with over zealous children on a mission to infinity and beyond! :) There was no control of children especially in the bar areas with some families thinking it highly funny that their children were kicking football's about in the bar and hitting the bar lights! Seriously though even old people were being run into as if it was their fault for being there :(

I feel I have covered the negative but onto the positive! As said earlier the infinity pool/chill out area is beautiful, and we often made our way down there. People were also quite friendly and we met some nice people! I am sure people who were there around 14th October would have met Alan from Loch Lomond as he spoke to everyone! Such a lovely guy although don't think I saw him sober :) Also a couple lovely ladies from Liverpool who had their mum with them and were looking after her, lovely ladies x 

We were more than happy with the food and the choice at all times and a special mention to the lovely lady that prepared our omelette every morning. We wanted to give this lady a tip on our last day but sadly she was on a day off but she was brilliant x

We also tried out the Italian restaurant and boy were we not disappointed! It was such a relaxing evening and the visit which is part of the all inclusive package was fantastic along with the staff , well done.

To sum up we would think about returning as we both feel it was good value for the £500 each that we paid for flights, transfers, hotel and all inclusive package and we just feel with those tweaks we have mentioned and some overall maintenance in the rooms like painting, change of furniture would really help the overall ambience of the stay for guests. If these changes were in place, we would of given a good review instead of average but to the hotel I know you can improve and also want to improve the experience for your guests so please take the suggestions on board from all travelers this season.

Finally, There are some lovely little Spanish bars ( One opposite the sea across the road on the right and another one further down although the first one for us was lovely and modern and a traditional seafood restaurant on the left , right on the sea ) These can be found when you turn left outside the hotel about 10-15 minutes walk or ask at reception and they will kindly order you a taxi, hope this review helps people.

The Ibiza Butlins

An absolute nightmare 😫 arrived for 2 weeks AI and on the 3rd day I fell flat on my face and burst my face, lips and had umpteen bruises which was through no fault of my own as I'd already reported the broken slabs on the entrance to the Hibiscus to reception and maintenance. It took them another 2 days before they even put down tape to warn people of the dangers to the entrance and I was so traumatised by what had happened I didn't go out the door because of the state if my face. I still have scarring on the inside of my lip where my teeth went through the skin with the tremendous fall I had. I attended the chemist who gave me umpteen different medication for my lip, my bruising and nothing helped.
Many times we've been here and found the hotels negligence to be shocking with no or very little support by tui when it was reported to them.
Tui states that it takes upto 6 months before they'll give you a response to your complaint and I have the pictures and dates to prove these claims' which I shall attach. Totally ruined my holiday because of negligence and safety issues as I was not the only person who fell that week as another elderly gentlemen had a fall in the exact sane spot due to broken uneven tiling.

Safety issues destroyed my holiday 

We stayed here in 2018 and 2019 as a family of 4 and both times were fantastic so you can imagine our excitement to be returning after lockdown, well I don't know where to start the hotel has become really run down and in desperate need of refurbishment, the entertainment team on previous visits were brilliant both times, not this time in the 10 nights we were there there was 5 different people leading the nights entertainment and it seemed like they had just rocked up that day and seemed to be just winging it and hoping for the best. The hotel has always been spotless but not this time on the 4th day a lady found a big chunk of poo that had clearly fell out of a child's nappy (these things happen) next to the steps leading out of the swimming pool she alerted the life guard who put a plastic chair over it so no one stood in it, needles to say the chair and poo were still there 3 hours later and the pool stayed open If anything like this happened on previous visits the pool was closed straight away. The food was not the best either luckily the location of the hotel meant we still enjoyed ourselves I would say that's the only thing the hotel has in its favour at the minute the beach and views across the bay are stunning. Hopefully they will sort it out in the coming years and it gets back to how it used to be I will be giving it a miss until they do

Returning holidaymaker but gone downhill

I’m very late on writing my review on here as iv been locked out of my account but this place deserves a review!!
I stayed here with my daughters october 2019 only booked as thomas cook collapsed well what a suprise we had this hotel had it all!! 
from 8am-late there is something for you and the kids the staff are to hand non stop! 
This has made me book further holidays at holiday villages this place was something else!
Food was spot on, water fun amazing, entertaining factor11/10! 
Rooms are 5* clean modern and comfortable in every way! 
Yes it’s expensive to stay here but you get what you pay for and this hotel provided it all!
Id return in a heart beat 🙌 
Once at this hotel you don’t need to leave they have a beautiful beach on its doorstep too a good bonus!! 

Amazing 🤩 

We visited for a fortnight in August for a belated special holiday for my 50th birthday, having had 3 cancelled due to COVID.  I can honestly say that I wish we have changed our hotel instead of going here.

Cons:
Beach is not part of the hotel as TUI advertised.  You need to pay to have a bed and there is a minimum charge from the bars
The waterpark is very minimal unless you are under 10.  No drinks or food are available here, and the toilets are disgusting.
The rooms are very tired.  We had to be moved as we had a leak from our ceiling which despite 4 attempts at repairs could not be fixed.  
Despite requesting a quiet room, we were right over the pool / entertainment which meant not being able to sit on the balcony or leave the doors open
The main pool water is luke warm - not refreshing at all
The infinity pool is quieter (we spent almost all our time here), BUT after 6pm you need to pay for drinks, and despite posters up saying it opens at 10am, the bar does not open until 12pm.  
A further issue with the infinity pool is children, jumping in on adults, inflatables and balls - despite posters saying that all of these are not allowed
Main restaurant - AWFUL.  screaming children running around.  people barefeet and putting their hands into the food.  We complained about this but management seemed unconcerned.
A la carte resturants - you have to use all before you can book  a second visit to one
Alcohol - must be very weak / watered down because you certainly can't taste it!
Entertainment - hideous both day and night.  
Not that the adult only bar is often unavailable because of wedding bookings
Sports bar and lounge are in same area, so there is no quiet place to sit inside to avoid the noise of the entertainment in the evenings

Pros:
Good choice of food each evening in the restaurant and for breakfast, although it is not laid out in a logical order and you do need to avoid running children and be careful that the people before you have not used their hands to touch the food

Food in the Grill restaurant is excellent - both in quality and quantity
Italian restaurant is good as well
Crooner / keyboard player in lounge twice a week was very good, but unfortunately drowned out by noise of sports tvs/people watching this

In short - consider very carefully.  I would not go back to here.


Not worth over £7,000 for a fortnight

We travelled to Ibiza in July and arrived quite late with 2 children. We had upgraded last minute to a swim up paying around £500 extra and was shocked when they put us in a room full of damp. The pull out bed was so rusted the rust fell all over the floor when it was pulled out. The pool was tiny and the area around the pool was dirty with broken tiles, broken and rusted drains. My family were so upset, we spent the first night in this room waking up to damp sheets and damp clothes. I can honestly say it’s the worst hotel room we have ever stayed in and it should not be available to any guessed. 
We complained first thing in the morning and they tried to tell us all the rooms were like this. Luckily after talking to many people on the hotels Facebook page we discovered a couple had been moved out of this room the night before calling it a health hazard. We complained to management again with the intention of moving out of the hotel if they did not move us and thankfully we were moved to a beautiful executive swim up which was lovely.  The room was what you would expect paying nearly £4500 out of term time for 7 days in Ibiza. 

The rest of the hotel was nice, the food as expected for all inclusive, some good variations each night. It’s typical of an inclusive where a lot is not free and upgrades are available. 

Position of the hotel is perfect with a beautiful beach and a water taxi available to take you into town. 

If we had not been put in the first room when we arrived I would be giving this hotel a 4 star. It was terrible and they should not be offering this room out. However I cannot fault how they handled our complaint once we pursued it and we had a lovely holiday after.

Tired hotel, be careful upgrading to a swim up

We stayed at the holiday village Seaview ibiza hotel in July 2022. When booking we upgraded our room to a 'sea view' room which obviously came at an extra cost but the pictures made it look worth it.  We arrived at the hotel 12:00 local time, but were told we couldn't check in until 15:00 but could use the facilities, that was a pain as we didn't have any swimming stuff easily accessible.  
When 15:00 came we checked in and headed to our room, looked out the balcony and it was a pool view not an upgraded sea view, so I went back to the reception and was told if I go to the edge of the balcony and look left I can see the sea, this is true I could see a very small section of sea if I stood on the edge of the balcony but it was not a sea view room!!  I complained to the rep but again I was told I could see the sea. I also tried to show the rep their website pictures but she wasn't interested. 
I contacted TUI on my return and they have responded telling me they are sorry but there's nothing more they can do.  So call me stubborn or whatever, but I will not be recommending this hotel or TUI to anyone.
