Tas Motel is right in the centre of Side viallge, perfectly located if you are interested in expoliring Side but also convenient of you want to explore the surrounding area by cxar of dolmus. The landlord and landlady are very personable, always ready to have a pleasant chat and to give advice to visitors. Breakfast is served outside on a patio under a sun roof, and prepared right there. Every day, our landlady offered us a different kind of home-made baked good... I think we had gözleme, pogaca and börek on our three mornings. Our room was spotlessly clean, as was the breakfast area. The furniture was basic but definitely serviceable, and the little balcony was a nice extra (enough space to hang-dry your beach towels and bathing clothes on the railing). There is no separate shower, the bathroom is a wet room - but again, perfectly serviceable, the water is hot and the room is clean. So what more do you need? We enjoyed our stay so much, in fact, that we decided to extend it by a night. I can fully recommend Tas Motel!

Great budget accommodation in Side historic district

PARKING:

They say they have a private parking which was for us the main priority, then the guy tells you to park in the municipalities parking not in walking distance to hotel (if there is a space of course) then take the shuttle back. 

-Btw I know he'll reply and say everyone in the area does in this way. (He was saying this to me when i was there) And for me it's quite stupid just because everyone's doing the same mistake doesn't justify your action.-

This is unacceptable basically they tricked us. We had to fight the traffic, quite fortunately found a parking lot and had to pay full night price. If I knew they didn't have a parking lot I wouldn't stayed in here.

LOCATION:

The hotel is not in the location as in the Google maps. We were almost entering someone else's house when I said this he was saying it's not their problem... I don't know how vague can people be about this.

ROOMS:

Rooms are not comfortable. Old furniture. Internet is not good. Bathroom is from another century, broken, old and small. 

HOST:

Rudest host ever. He actually had fight with me and told me to go, as If I could find a place in the last minute. Even everything was perfect as if it was a 5 star hotel, i wouldn't stay this place again ever. - and yes as this man actually told me I'll never be back in here. -

Colossial rudeness and misinformation !

Like the previous reviews say, the hotel is a little bit tired, but it is clean, quaint and perfectly located for sightseeing and the east beach. Ugur and his wife Arzu who manage the hotel, are fantastic hosts, and nothing is too much trouble for them. We asked Ugur if he would cook for us a couple of evenings during our stay. The food was fantastic, and at an excellent price. also the drinks were cheaper than you will find in other bars and restaurants in the resort. Great little find.

Perfect

Hotel located in the old town run buy Ugur and his wife Arzu. We had a room with a balcony . Room size was small but meet your requirements.If you have big luggages you might face with storage problems at the room.Towels , sheets were clean and bathroom needs some new equipment however it was good. Breakfast served well together with home made apricot jam . We ate twice and Ugur has prepared delicious meatballs. Hotel also close to shopping area , there are very nice restaurants within short walking distance.

Nice hotel

When we arrived in Side the taxi driver had to drop us at the entrance to the Od Town.
There is an information office run by the local council.  The lady who was on duty rang the Tas and the owner came and collected us   The motel minutes was not far away ( 5 minutes ) and was spotless with good sized rooms and a balcony.      Breakfast is served in the bar area and an excellent selection is provided ( omelettes, soft boiled eggs ).
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners.

Excellent Hotel

A small family hotel. Very friendly and constructive hotel owner. Always ready to help you solve your problems. The hotel is near the beach, although in the old town everything is close. Breakfast is standard for Turkey. But you can always ask to prepare additional freshly squeezed juice or coffee in Turkish. The hotel is decorated in traditional Turkish style.

It's a cozy corner in the old town.

Perfect location away from the noise and more authentic than the center, clean and air-conditioned room, thanks to Our and his family and for the good cooked dish that his daughter prepared for me.

Super stay with a very welcoming family

Nois stayed at this hotel at the end of September. The room is small but comfortable. The only small negative point is the configuration of the bathroom, but for the price, it's hard to criticize. The breakfast was excellent. The host and his wife are pleasant and answer our questions. I give unreserved advice to travelers who are looking for comfort at a reasonable price. Located in the old city but away from the noise and crowds.

Charming boarding house in the heart of the old town

We hated the town of Side, which was too touristy with dirty pages, and fortunately this hotel allowed us to escape the crowds in a green setting with a good welcome.

Well located

Located in the eastern part of the city, less crowded with tourists and shops that flourish with, this'motel' held with a smile provides easy access to the beach and the Greco-Roman ruins, you can share family fun or get thirsty for more than a few dollars, the room is clean with air conditioning, good stay!
