Thank you The Terrace Villas! We used Terrace Villas accommodation as part of our relocation process. We stayed with them for a full month. The apartment is very spacious, warm and comfortable. The beds are amazing and so the full bathroom. It felt like a home away from home as the kitchen if fully equipped and the laundry facilities including washer and dryer are conveniently located in the bathroom. Rooms are professionally serviced weekly. Access to the city is as easy as walking down the road, with multiple pathways down to the waterfront and city center. Food and entertainment everywhere you look. We would highly recommend The Terrace Villas for any length of stay. Thank you to Gavin and the team.

A home away from home...

After living at the terrace apartments for an entire year, I am incredibly sad to be leaving my lovely apartment!  
I might be biased but 2010 is the best one bedroom apartment! At the rear of the property, I’ve been fortunate to have a bright and sunny space with a beautiful green vista to look out onto! The apartments come fully equipped and are very clean, tidy and well maintained! 
The villas are in such a convenient location that for 11 out of the 12 months I stayed here, I did not need a car! With no more than a 5 mins walk you’re on Lambton Quay, and only 15 or so mins to Cuba Street or the Train Station!

Gavin, Duane and the entire team have really made the stay something special! They are kind, welcoming and accomodating to all the needs you might have!  I will 100% be staying here again on my trips back to Wellington in the future! 


A year long stay and absolutely LOVED IT!

I stayed in Terrace Villa Apartments for 5months and loved it. Gavin, Duane and the cleaning staff there were amazing the whole time. I loved the rustic styled villa apartment; it really was a homely feeling and made my time in Wellington so much more enjoyable. The staff were really accommodating, and nothing was a problem for them, the cleaning service was also top notch (better than I have seen in 5* accommodation). I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a stay in wellington that really does feel like a home away from home. We had an amazing time at Terraces-

The location was great! Spacious rooms , great for short stays , has kitchen and washer and dryer.
Duane  the manager was very helpful and on top of making our stay special.

Xmas break in NZ

I had such an amazing time staying at the Terrace Villas! My family and I stayed here for a few days for our winter vacation and it was wonderful. The rooms are spacious with nice living areas and beautiful windows. Some rooms serve as small apartments. The Villas are close to town so it’s easy to walk everywhere. The owner, Gavin, and his management are incredibly welcoming, wonderful, and accommodating. Stay at the Villas!!

Amazing time at Terrace Villas in Wellington!!!!

Beautiful property, comfortable spaces and so close to town.  The management was super friendly and helpful.  They really made us feel very special. Rooms are very cozy and many of them are with big living areas and newly renovated. 

NZ Welly experience

This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Terrace Villas. Every time I’ve been there the owners and staff have been extremely great. They are so accommodating and pleasant, it really makes the stay so easy. The rooms are spacious, with good furniture, bathrooms, and kitchens. The rooms are also serviced regularly with lots of amenities. We love staying at the Terrace Villas and will definitely stay there again when we make it back to Wellington!

Best Hotel/Longterm Stay in Wellington!

This is the second time I’ve stayed and the third time my husband has stayed. Each time we were greeted with friendly people who went above and beyond to help us. The room was clean and tidy with a kitchen that allows you to cook if you don’t want takeaways all the time. Will stay again if I get the chance.

Cute apartment in the city

Few places have made me feel more welcome or comfortable when I'm away. I enjoy the option of privacy that these stylish, clean and well appointed apartments offer, and which are close to cafes and restaurants  in the central city. 
The morning walk along The Terrace down Plimmer Steps is cafe heaven. 10 stars for location, amenity, views and the birdlife in the trees below the harbour view apartment. I even heard a morepork ❤

Wellington's hidden gems 

Stayed with our two small dogs. Large apartment. Perfect for the dogs to be able to walk onto grass
 Green vista to look at. Extremely clean. And everyone was friendly and helpful. I'd recommend staying anytime.
